We went out with Sufyān ath-Thawriyy on the day of ʿīd and he said: «Verily, the first thing we will begin our day with is lowering our gazes.» ? Ibn ʾAbiyy ad-Dunyā in Kitāb al-Waraʿ, 66.

{Wakīʿ Ibn al-Jarrāḥ}

“men used to fight in wars!”

if you want your son to be like khalid bin al walid, then you have to be like umm ibrahim al hashmiyyah!

you cannot expect a male to grow up upon جihad when he is not being raised upon it, muجahideen are men, but who raise the men? who gives birth to them?

you have to raise your children upon جihad and loving it. you cannot leave them to discover it later on by themselves!
if you want your son to be a shahīd, then raise him upon that way!

just like how جihad becomes fardh al ayn, you need to raise them upon it

you cannot compain about the ummah being deprived of lions in the battlefield when their mothers cannot put in the effort to excite them for it, or to determine them for it
you can't fantasize about men being like the sahaba and diving into the ranks of the enemy when you can't teach them about it

motherhood plays a big role on how the child grows up
do not think that this excuses the man for not defending the ummah by جihad

Ibn Taymiyyah was once asked: "Where are the people of truth."

He replied: "Either under the earth, in prison or in the battlefield."

“I bear witness to anyone who advocates for Palestine but deliberately ignores and does not care about our noble sisters in the camps in Shām that he has Nifaq.
Al Wala Wal Baraa is according to Imān and not according to sympathy”

It was narrated from Umm Husain that she heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say:
“Even if the one appointed over you is a mutilated Ethiopian slave whose nose and ears have been cut off, listen to him and obey, so long as he leads you according to the Book of Allah.

{Sunan Ibn Majah 2861}

the last part, so long as he leads you according to the book of Allah indicates the permissibility of disobedience and rebellion against a ruler that does not rule by the book of Allah.

“There are 5 types of men:

‏رجل في الخندق يصاول أعداء الله
A man in a trench fighting the enemies of Allah,
A man who was mهrtyred in the path of Allah,
A man in captivity, staying patient while in his shackles,
A man who was wounded, waiting for his wound to heal so he can go back to fighting,
And a man who is preparing himself to catch up to those who already went forth.
So if you aren’t among those, then my condolences to yourmasculinity.

Do not be misled into thinking that the term 'pride' here refers to happiness or satisfaction (because yes we should be happy and proud to pleasing Allah Azzawjal); rather, it denotes the kind associated with riyaa.

And Moses said, "Our Lord, indeed You have given Pharaoh and his establishment splendor and wealth in the worldly life, our Lord, that they may lead [men] astray from Your way. Our Lord, obliterate their wealth and harden their hearts so that they will not believe until they see the painful punishment."
10:88

shows the permissiblity of making dūa that the kuffar stay misguided so they can be punished in the afterlife
