Of note, Spencer Cox has paid Election Hive over half a million dollars, the vast majority of it for “campaign management services,” since June 2023. AG candidate Derek Brown has also paid Election Hive over $30,000 as part of his campaign. 

“We will not be placated, much less abandon our fight, by a kangaroo audit intimately tied to the same company that runs Spencer Cox’s campaign. What utter nonsense,” Lyman concluded.

While I stand with Trump in the face of this injustice, l'm mostly troubled by how unprepared the state of Utah is to seize the opportunity of this moment. Tonight, there will be numerous conservative, successful, wealthy, innovative New Yorkers wondering if there's a sanctuary state waiting for them.
While we could have been building a shining city on the hill for honest, hardworking Americans to build their dream, we've built a cheap knock off version of a New York political machine where patronage is the path to wealth and coercion is the coin of the realm.

My Why

Justice doesn’t always live in our institutions, but as long as it lives in the heart of the American people, I believe Justice finds its own ways to prevail - sometimes in courtrooms, sometimes through elections, sometimes through conflict and strife, and sometimes through the merciful acts of a righteous God.

What happened in a courtroom in New York today wasn’t an act of justice. It was a politically motivated attack on a former president made by a weaponized and corrupted institution. I believe @realDonaldTrump is strong enough to galvanize this injustice into a resounding victory in November, but the bigger question is whether the American people will use this moment to change what we’re becoming. Because if a false and politically motivated witch hunt can tear down a former president, what do you think the authors of this injustice have in store for you?

I will tell you: ESG scores, social credit scores, punitive taxes, endless lawfare, environmental indulgences, pay-to-play corruption, and pay-to-pray persecution.
