We’re pushing hard to grow SmartDeFi and FEG while keeping our core ecosystem strong. Our focus is on expansion, marketing, and continuous updates to bring more users, projects, and rewards to the FEG community.

Expanding to More EVM Chains

We’re working on bringing SmartDeFi to more EVM chains, giving projects the freedom to launch where they want while still benefiting FEG stakers on BNB Chain.

Stakers on BNB Chain will earn from fees generated across all chains, making staking even more rewarding.

More chains = more projects = more volume flowing into SmartDeFi, driving greater adoption and growth.

These expansions will require development and the timeline is TBD, but this is a key focus for us.

Solana Expansion – A Possible SmartDeFi Integration

We’re in ongoing discussions about the possibility of bringing SmartDeFi to Solana, but since Solana can’t handle complex smart contracts, this would be a minimalist version of SmartDeFi built specifically for its ecosystem.

It would maintain SmartDeFi’s core security and asset-backing principles but in a form that works within Solana’s limitations.

The goal is to funnel Solana users and projects into the full SmartDeFi ecosystem on EVM chains, where they can access everything we offer.

This expansion is still tentative, and we’ll share more updates as discussions progress.

Marketing & Ecosystem Growth

We’re making sure SmartDeFi and FEG get the exposure they deserve by pushing hard on multiple fronts:

CEX Listings: We recently got listed on LBank, Biconomy, and another exchange, and we’re working on more to expand accessibility.

Influencer & KOL Outreach: We’re targeting YouTubers, Twitter influencers, and project leaders to spread awareness and drive adoption.

Community Revival & Engagement: We’re bringing back the 2021 hype with meme competitions, Task2Earn campaigns, and better engagement with the FEG Gorilla brand.

SmartDeFi Upgrades: We’ve already added multi-chain UI, a notification system, wallet tracking, and the upgrader tool, with more updates on the way to make it easier for projects to transition to SmartDeFi.

We’re making sure FEG and SmartDeFi grow together, bringing more chains, more users, and more rewards to the entire ecosystem. Expansion is coming, and we’re here to build for the long run.

This was accomplished through the priority listing and fee of 5k USD.

CoinGecko will continue to be worked on as they've listed FEG ETH with quite a bit of missing info.

As you may have noticed from the Gorilla Logo on CMC, we've decided to bring back the Gorilla mascot and start using the FEED EVERY GORILLA slogan instead of just promoting "FEG Token."

This change comes because we've noticed a significant drop in community engagement. ROX, Tomi, and I discussed this and felt it was necessary. DewBo also agreed during our branding discussion, so we decided to move forward.

Using the Gorilla and the FEED EVERY GORILLA slogan will help us overcome the limitations we've faced with marketing the “F” without a recognizable character. When we put the fancy “F” on various gorilla images, it doesn't have the same impact as having the Gorilla mascot, which people can rally behind and use for memes, merchandise, and more.

In our efforts to recover from past challenges, we may have gone too far in trying to be overly serious. The seriousness of the SmartDeFi platform and product will remain, but bringing back the Gorilla is about adding fun and character to the token itself. We've focused so much on being serious that we've lost touch with the fun community aspect.

We will continue to use the logos created for each platform, with the exception of the launchpad logo. SmartDeFi will simply be represented by its own logo. Additionally, we will be updating the FEG.io website to reflect these changes and will be bringing a landing page to SmartDeFi.com to assist with ease of use and navigation.

Now that we've worked so hard to get here, it's time to find that balance again!

? Announcement: Update on CMC & CG Listings

To ensure a smoother and more efficient process, we have decided to apply for listing as a new token rather than an upgrade on both CoinMarketCap (CMC) and CoinGecko (CG).

We are pleased to inform you that we have applied as part of the CMC Priority listing for a fee of 5,000 USD. All information has been submitted, and we await the invoice to proceed.

CoinGecko has stated a timeframe of 2 business days for processing, as mentioned in their automated email response.

? Staking Protocol Restructuring for FEG Begins Today!

Dear FEG Community,

*Today is the 19th, and we are thrilled to announce that our major restructuring of the staking protocol is now going into effect.

FEGrox is preparing to pause the protocol and transition staking to the following plan designed to create positive buying pressure for FEG and drastically reduce overall staking costs!*

Key Changes:

1. Positive Buying Pressure: The new staking model will continuously purchase FEG rewards on the market using a custom fee converter, increasing demand and potentially driving up FEG’s value.

2. Simplified Staking Model: Exclusively for FEG, this model will focus on earning rewards solely in FEG tokens, making staking more straightforward and cost-effective when staking or claiming rewards.

3. Adjusted Reward Share: The fee for SmartDeFi project investors entering token staking pools will be reduced to 0.5% (down from 1%), benefiting both SmartDeFi token stakers and FEG stakers.

The FEG Staking Tokenomics Tax of Buy/Sell at 1.3% remains unchanged.

Transition Details:

- Upgrade Date: The staking protocol will be upgraded today, June 19th. Staking will be paused on each chain for a few hours during the upgrade. This pause will not affect trading.
- Reward Withdrawal: The option to withdraw rewards by June 18th has now passed. Any remaining rewards will be auto-converted to FEG and redistributed to the staking contract for all stakers.
