Our minds work just like AI. AI takes prompts and builds its responses based on them. The way I shape an AI’s behavior is by the prompts I give it. Humans are the same—we are shaped by the prompts we receive throughout life. These prompts come from language, emotions, experiences, and everything we absorb through our senses.

But unlike AI, humans don’t just accept new prompts immediately. If I tell myself, “I am the richest person in the world,” my mind will reject it because of the past prompts I’ve already accepted. For a new prompt to work, it has to be influential—it has to bypass the filters we’ve built over time.

That’s why change isn’t just about saying something; it’s about making the prompt effective enough to actually reprogram the way we think. If we master this process, we can prompt ourselves and others in a way that actually sticks. Instead of waiting for outside influences to shape us, we can decide who we want to be and condition ourselves to accept it.

Once you understand this, you control your own programming—and if you apply it to others, you control theirs too.
