ኢትዮቴሌኮም ከሃዋላ አገልግሎት በበጀት ዓመቱ የዉጪ ምንዛሪ መጠንኑን ወደ 282 ሚሊዮን ዶላር ለማሳደግ አቅጃለሁ ሲል አስታዉቋል

ተቋሙ ዓለም አቀፍ ገቢንና የውጭ ምንዛሪ የሚያስገኙ እና የአገልግሎት ዘርፎችን በማሳደግ በተለይም የዓለም አቀፍ ቀፍ አገልግሎት የረሚታንስ (የሀዋላ) አገልግሎትን በማሻሻልና አጋሮቹን በማስፋት በበጀት ዓመቱ የውጭ ምንዛሪ ግኝት መጠን ወደ 282.85 ሚሊዮን የአሜሪካን ዶላር ለማሳደግ አቅጃለሁ ።

የ2017 በጀት ዓመት ዕቅዱን ይፋ ያደረገው ኢትዮ ቴሌኮም ለዲጂታል መሰረተ ልማት ማስፋፋያ ከ1 ቢሊዮን ዶላር በላይ በጀት መያዙን እና የቴሌብር ደንበኞችን ቁጥር በ15.7% በመጨመር 55 ሚሊዮን አደርሳለሁ ብሏል።

በበጀት ዓመቱ ከማክሮ ኢኮኖሚ ማሻሻያ ፖሊሲው ጋር በተገናኘም በስትራቴጂው ላይ ማሻሻያዎችን ማድረጉን ያስታወቁት የኢትዮ ቴሌኮም ዋና ስራ አስፈፃሚ ፍሬህይወት ታምሩ በዚህ አመት የደንበኞችን ቁጥር ወደ 83 ሚሊዮን ለማሳደግ ታቅዷል ብለዋል።

ከአስር ዓመታት በፊት በቻይና ገበያ የኢትዮጵያ የሰሊጥ ምርት የ50 በመቶ ድርሻ የነበረዉ ቢሆንም አሁን ግን ይኼ ድርሻ ወደ 5 በመቶ መዉረዱን የኢትዮጵያ ጥራጥሬ፣ቅባት እህሎችና ቅመማ ቅመም አዘጋጅቶ ላኪዎች ማህበር አስታዉቋል።

የማህበሩ ቦርድ ፕሬዝዳንት የሆኑት አቶ ኤዳዎ አብዲ እንደተናገሩት "አሁን ላይከሌሎች አገራት ጋር በዋጋ እየተወዳደርን አይደለም" የገበያ ድርሻችንን እያጣን ነው ያሉ ሲሆን ለዚህም የአቅርቦት ሰንሰለትና የምርታማነት እንከኖች በጉልህ ይጠቀሳሉ በማለት ለምርቱ መቀነስ ምክንያት ነዉ ያሉትን ጉዳይ አንስተዋል ።

#News Opposition Politicians Released from Prison

The Ethiopian government has freed seven Oromo Liberation Front, or OLF, members who have been in prison for more than four years.

A spokesperson for OLF Lemi Gemechu told VOA's Horn of Africa Service that the seven were released on Thursday from the different prisons where they had been held.

Some of the released detainees are members of the executive committee while others are central committee and executive members of the OLF.

Meanwhile, the family of Taye Dendea, the detained former Ethiopian state minister of peace, has expressed their disappointment with the Supreme Court's decision to deny him bail.

The former state minister was arrested in December last year after he posted comments criticizing Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed. Police accused him of collaborating with groups aiming to destabilize Ethiopia.
