Let's meet again, not just to forgive each other but to say that it's impossible to live without you. We have tried for months, but it's hard living with your absence. It feels like I've lost something, something important to me, and when I know that it's there, waiting for me to have it, it bothers me more that if we both want the same thing, then why are we living apart? So let's meet to rip apart the distance this time, not our relationship. Let's just forget the fights we had because we didn't want to sacrifice something for each other. But I think it's worth sacrificing things for someone who is an important part of our lives; that too is the only important part. So let's just meet again to kiss until we fall in love again and realise that this moment is worth living again and again rather than fighting over having the other moments. We can eliminate all the bad phases of our relationship just by adding more love into it. So let's just meet again to add more love without having a second thought because we both are overthinkers, and if we start giving thought to our doubts, we would never meet again. someone on tiktok wrote “the world feels harder to exist everyday.” and this line has been stuck with me since the day that i read it. so this is a gentle reminder that you are doing great. at the end of the day, the people and the little things that remind you to breathe and live are the only ones that should matter most.

As much as I hate to admit it, I really am still figuring things out. And while I know it's perfectly fine, sometimes, it keeps me awake at night. I can't help but wish for the world to stop. Not for too long—just enough for me to catch up to everyone else and pick up the dreams I lost along the way. Or maybe a little rewind to undo all the bad decisions made, and let go of the things that I now know won't end up working, anyway. But I know that would be cheating. That's not how the world works.

Here’s to the empty beer bottles.

To the muffled cries in our pillows, and the silent wishes in our bedroom walls.

Here’s to the masks we learned to wear so well no one could see through them anymore.

One day, things will be okay. Maybe not the best and certainly could still use some better days, but things will finally start to make sense and and we’ll look back with a smile, knowing it wasn’t easy and every fall hurt like hell, but we kept going, anyway.
