**The reason for the deformation of the skull in this way is still unknown. According to a popular version, this shape of the skull was a symbol of aesthetic beauty in Ancient Egypt.

Also, some scientists assume that it is a sign of ethnic identification, that is, it was possible to get information about a person's tribe based on the shape of the skull.

Even now, deformed heads can be seen in some African tribes.
