We are going to see Yo La Tengo playing covers (and they have a loooot of good ones), completely crazy live from Les Savy Fav (I am sure about it), and good dancing by Dave P

As for myself, I have a strange feeling. I did not expect anything, but almost no bands make me horny. It feels we come back to 2000’s indie, that I never ever liked + some house/techno DJs

Nevertheless, here are the interesting ones: Pulp, Justice, Peggy Gou, Arca, Deftones, Freddie Gibbs, Mochakk, Yo La Tengo, Blonde Redhead, Monolake

30 MAY - 1 JUN are the festival days for Primavera Sound in Barcelona. July 3-10 is just dates for ticket purchase

Big news! ?

First, tickets to Primavera Sound 2024 are on sale from Monday (early bird for PS23 goers)

Second, the festival will be in JULY, not June!

Massive change! It seems organizers and participants are tired of overpaying for accommodation – beginning of June always looks busy with event overlap like Primavera, IT exhibitions and others events, which end up with enourmous prices for accommodation. I remember that a bed in 8-place room in a hostel cost 100 euros per night! WTF is that?

So, July now!

And Sonar gonna be the first, for the first time! WOW!

I hope your mood is uplifting after yesterday's disappointment with the weather and cancellation

Anyway! As a small comfort gift you can see the band called BEAK> - they canceled the show in Barcelona due to sickness, but today they are present in Madrid. So, it might be a tiny compensation for yesterday.

(20:50) BEAK> - a journey that takes you into landscapes of krautrock - a wave of 60s psychodelic music made by German post-war hippies
(20:50) The Moldy Peaches - Have you watched "Juno"? Well, then you should be more than happy!
(20:50) Karate - another great band from 90s, representing friendly and melancholic indie
(21:30) ? Swans - imagine if music was Tetris. When the game is almost over you have this huge brick overload. Replace this wall of bricks with acoustic sounds - that would be Swans [I award it as Best performance at Primavera 2023 BCN]
