Dispraise of Lying!
Ibn al-Jawzī رحمه الله said:
The cure of this disease is to know Allāh's punishment for a liar and to be certain that when a person continuously lies he will eventually be exposed one day, then he will be disrespected in such a way that cannot be averted; his shame will increase, earn people's disrespect to the extent that they will not believe him even when he is truthful, and their distrust will exceed beyond what he lied about.”
[Disciplining the Soul | Page. 42]
You search for peace in worldly possessions, so you chase after them relentlessly. Perhaps you'll never let go of your worldly hopes. You build castles in the air, only to find the time of your departure approaching, carrying you beyond this world.
-
This world is fleeting, but the afterlife is eternal. Yet, you show little enthusiasm for the rewards of the afterlife. You act for the hereafter with great reluctance. If not now, when will you increase your good deeds? Your life is not guaranteed!
-
It's astonishing! You exert yourself tirelessly for transient things, even though everything could vanish in an instant!
-
Remember the Day of Judgment when we will all stand before Allah(SWT) to account for our actions. Let us not be among those who regret their neglect of the afterlife. Let us prepare ourselves for this inevitable day by increasing our good deeds and seeking forgiveness!
Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
"When Allaah is with you, then all worries, grief and sadness disappear; no grief can remain when Allaah is with the slave."
[Ad-Daa' wa Ad-Dawaa' | 269]
Hasan al-Basri رحمه الله said:
“In this worldly-life the Believer is like a stranger,
he does not despair when it humiliates him and neither does he covet its grandeur.
The people are in one state, and he is in a totally different state.”
[Al-Ghuraba’a, page 23]
Prophet ﷺ said :
Indeed there is a Surah in the Quran of Thirty Ayat, which intercedes for a man until he is forgiven. It is Tabarak Alladhi Biyadihil Mulk [Surah Mulk].
[Tirmidhi 2891]
Sheikh Saalih Al-Fawzân حفظه الله
❝We are not seeking the people's approval. We are not seeking their praise. What we want is to please Allaah, the Most High.❞
[Essential Questions And Answers On The Salafee Methodology, Pg 30 | Translated By Moosaa Richardson (حفظه الله)]
MAWLID
Shaikh Saleh Al-Fawzan (may Allah preserve him):
Celebrating the Prophet’s birthday (Mawlid ) is a Bid’ah (innovation) and every innovation is misguidance, as per the Hadeeth
Shaikh Ibn baz (may Allah have mercy on him):
Even if it is done by a lot of people today the innovation are countless nowadays and the sins are countless nowadays and that a lot of people do it is not an proof against the book of Allah Nor against the Sunnah of his Messenger ﷺ
Sheikh Saleh Al-Luhaidan (may Allah have mercy on him):
If the Prophet did not invent the Mawlid nor did the Rightly Guided Caliphs nor was it known in the era of the Sahabah nor the era of the Tabi’een Nor in the era of their followers, nor in the era of any of the four imams.
So, four hundred years passed, and the people did not know of anything called Mawlid. So it is a Bid’ah (innovation)
Sheikh Al-Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him):
Let’s question if we revere the Messenger ﷺ more than them? No.
Do we love the Messenger more than them? No.
If this is the case, then we must follow their steps and not celebrate the Prophet’s Mawlid because it is an innovation
Shaikh Saleh Al-Fawzan (may Allah preserve him):
So the Muslim must avoid and not participate in it.
Seeking the Love of Allah: Wisdom from the Supplication of Dawud (AS)
-
Abu Ad-Darda’ narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,
“It used to be from the supplication of Dawud that he would say: ‘O Allah, indeed, I ask You for Your love and the love of those who love You, and for the action that will cause me to attain Your love, O Allah, make Your love more beloved to me than myself, my family and cold water (Allāhumma innī as’aluka ḥubbaka wa ḥubba man yuḥibbuka wal-amalalladhī yuballighunī ḥubbak. Allāhummaj
al ḥubbaka aḥabba ilaiyya min nafsī, wa ahlī wa minal-mā’il-bārid) He said: “And when the Prophet (ﷺ) would mention Dawud, he would narrate about him, saying: “He was the best in worship out of all men.”

Al-Anfal 8:29

The Sacred Ritual of Wudu: A Guide
-
Wudu (Ablution) is a fundamental ritual in Islam, required before performing prayers, handling the Quran, and other sacred activities. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to perform Wudu, along with insightful Hadith and Quranic references:
Step 1: Intention (Niyyah)
Make the intention to perform Wudu, saying "Bismillah" (In the name of Allah).
Step 2: Wash Hands
Wash your hands up to the wrists three times. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "The key to Paradise is prayer, and the key to prayer is Wudu." (Sahih Muslim)
Step 3: Rinse Mouth
Rinse your mouth three times, making sure to swish water around your mouth and spit it out. Allah says, "And your garments purify, and your souls, and remember Allah's favors upon you, that you may be successful." (Quran 7:206)
Step 4: Rinse Nose
Rinse your nose three times, blowing your nose gently each time. The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, "When a servant performs Wudu, his sins are washed away from his body, and he is cleansed of his mistakes." (Sunan Abu Dawud, 1:55)
Step 5: Wash Face
Wash your face three times, from forehead to chin and ear to ear. Allah says, "O you who believe! When you rise up for prayer, wash your faces and your hands up to the elbows, and wipe your heads and your feet up to the ankles." (Quran 5:6)
Step 6: Wash Arms
Wash your arms up to the elbows three times.
Step 7: Wipe Head
Wipe your head, including your hair, once.

By following these steps and remembering the insightful Hadith and Quranic references, may your Wudu be accepted, and may you be blessed with peace and guidance!
