It just sucks. Feels like I have to be on guard for disinformation and manipulation 24/7, and that's without the existence of generative AI

Side note, has anyone else picked up the habit of obsessively scanning background details of photos for signs of AI tomfoolery? I know I won't catch everything, I'm not that perceptive... but I feel like there's no way to truly match reality all the time, no matter how "good" it gets. There may occasionally be small tells if you pay enough attention.

At least... that's what I hope, anyhow. I may be proven wrong as time goes on.
