Written Summary Dex223 Monthly Recap August 28th:
Key Points:
?*Launch phase is nearing, with core features being finalized.
?Margin trading contracts and UI are in progress, with security audits pending.
?UI bugs have been mostly fixed; a bug report has been published.
?A realistic launch date is early to mid-October, depending on the security audit outcomes.
?Gas fees for pD223 to D223 conversion may be covered by Dex223 depending on ETH gas prices.
?Staking will not be available at launch but will be introduced later, along with margin trading.
?Only core features will be enabled at launch, including trading, swapping, and providing liquidity.
?Ongoing discussions with potential token developers are in progress to offer attraction bonuses.
?Participation in Devcon and other conferences is being pursued for greater exposure.
?***A strategy for the launch stage, including budget allocation and partnerships, will be discussed and published soon.
As we approach the launch of the Dex223 platform, we're finalizing key features and preparing for the security audit. The platform will support two versions of margin trading contracts, each with a different process for order creation. Version 1 is user-friendly but less gas-efficient, while Version 2 uses templates for better gas efficiency. We'll use Version 1 for networks where gas fees are not a concern and Version 2 for others.
The interface for these features is still in development, with Figma templates almost completed. Additionally, the Listing UI is nearly finalized, with significant progress on auto-listing contracts. There are three listing methods: default list (team-reviewed), token list (similar to Uniswap's method), and auto-listing through smart contracts. The contracts are ready for testing on the Sepolia testnet, and the UI will be available soon.
While the smart contracts are mostly complete from the interface side, the internal aspects still require security checks. We plan to re-deploy all contracts before the final launch in September or October, along with a new test version that will include a bug bounty program.
Documentation for the contracts is a crucial task before the security audit. Our contracts, based on Uniswap V3 with significant custom implementations for ERC-223, require thorough documentation to ensure a successful audit.
On the backend, we've updated the sub-graph for auto-listing contracts, enabling assets to be automatically listed and visible to users with auto-listing enabled. The backend is largely complete, with minimal changes expected.
We're also working on a mobile version and guidelines page, while the Borrow-Lend pages are in progress. Implementation of margin trading features will follow the main deployment, as this feature requires extensive security measures.
We've identified and addressed a flaw in the trust rating system related to similarly named tokens. The system aims to automate the identification of suspicious tokens, reducing the need for team intervention. However, it's not yet perfect, and we may introduce a voting system for token holders to label tokens.
Thank you to everyone for your thorough testing and detailed feedback! This phase is crucial for identifying and understanding the issues, and our developers are already hard at work addressing the problems you've helped uncover. We appreciate your dedication! Let's continue our journey of discovery and improvement together!
