Finally, Princeton has a Central Asian History course

I checked the readings, and most of the authors are from the West. Since this is an experimental course, it would be great if they included some works by Central Asian authors in the future if they continue it next semester.

What is fascinating about college is every surprising encounter on campus.

Coming from a small bubble, Princeton’s community feels vast, even though it is one of the smaller Ivy. I met many genius people from UWC with perfect IB scores, an IPhO 2x Gold medalist, a creative writer who is publishing her books this autumn, a posh British student from Eton College (the most prestigious British School), a transferred Veteran who served in the Base of Okinawa, a student with more than twenty thousand dollar worth of travel miles, a boy who has already directed several theatre plays, a guy who mastered card games and game theory, twins attending Princeton, and the list goes on. The camping trip taught me that everyone has a unique story to tell, often hidden beneath the surface.
