Strive To Provide Ifṭār At The Masjid If You Have The Ability In Order To Attain Great Reward!

Shaykh Muḥammad Ṣāliḥ al-'Uthaymīn رحمه الله said: "Whoever has the ability should strive to provide Ifṭār for those who are fasting, either in the Masjid or at other places.

This is because the one who provides Ifṭār for someone fasting will receive a reward like his.

Therefore, whoever provides Ifṭār for his brothers who are fasting, then he will receive a rewards similar to theirs.

So those whom Allāh, The Most High, has given wealth should seize this opportunity in order to attain these great rewards.

Fasting But Not Praying?

Shaykh Muḥammad Ṣāliḥ al-'Uthaymīn رحمه الله said: "From the bizarre affairs in our times is that from the people age those who are patient upon fasting and they have great reverence and regard for it, but they are not patient upon the obligatory prayers and they do not have this great reverence and regard for the prayers in their hearts as they have in it for fasting. So you find that he fasts Ramaḍān but he does not pray except during Ramaḍān and the following Ramaḍān. If he prays only during Ramaḍān this is no doubt a mistake in (his) thinking."

Increase Reading The Qur'ān In Ramaḍān

Shaykh Muḥammad Ṣāliḥ al-'Uthaymīn رحمه الله said: "Completing the Qur'ān in Ramaḍān for the person who fasts is not obligatory. However, it is incumbent for the individual to increase his reading of the Qur'ān in Ramaḍān consistent with the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ as Jibrīl would review the Qur'ān with him ﷺ every Ramaḍān.
