In the last part of surah Aal 'Imran, Allah describes the people of understanding by saying:

[الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَٰذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ]

"Those who remember Allah while standing, sitting, and on their sides, and who reflect of the creation of the heavens and the earth, saying: O our Lord, You did not create all this for nothing! Exalted are You! So protect us from the punishment of the fire!" [191]

In his tafsir, Imam al-Baghawi wrote:

[قال ابن عون : الفكرة تذهب الغفلة وتحدث للقلب الخشية كما يحدث الماء للزرع النبات ]

Ibn 'Awn said: Reflection drives off heedlessness and brings about reverential fear to one's hear in the same way that water brings about growth to a plant.

Choose your company wisely.

❝Sit only in the company of one who advises you to desire little from this world and who encourages you to put your hopes in the Hereafter. Take care not to sit with worldly people who speak constantly about worldly affairs; such people will ruin your religious well-being and will corrupt your heart.❞

Jahannam: The Abode for Melting the Hardened Hearts

Just as a Muslim is commanded to purify their body and soul in this world through the actions of the limbs and heart that Allah has obligated, a person will be punished on the Day of Judgment if they turn away from this purification and fall short, by being admitted to the fire of Jahannam.

Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said, "The fire was only made to melt hardened hearts." This means that if a person from the people of Tawheed falls short in their duty to Allah and their heart remains hardened in this world, and they leave this world without purifying their heart's impurities and their shortcomings in their duty to their Lord, they will be placed in the fire of Hell until they are purified from this impurity. And once they are purified and made like the rest of the believers, they will be transferred to their abode in the dwellings of bliss.

وكما أن المسلم مأمور بتطهير بدنه وباطنه في الدنيا بما أوجب الله عز وجل أعمال الجوارح وأعمال القلوب، فإنه يعاقب يوم القيامة إذا صد عن هذه الطهارة وقصر فيها بأن يدخل نار جهنم. قال ابن القيم رحمه الله تعالى: "إنما جُعلت النار لإذابة القلوب القاسية." انتهى كلامه. ومعناه أن من قصر في حق الله عز وجل من أهل التوحيد، وكان قلبه قاسيًا في الدنيا وخرج منها ولم يتطهر من نجاسات قلبه وتقصيره في جناب ربه، فإنه يُجعل في نار جهنم حتى يطهر من هذه الرديئة، فإذا تطهر وصار كبقية المؤمنين، حُوِّل إلى دارهم دار النعيم.

Imām adh-Dhahabī Raḥimahullāh said:

“It is the Sunnah of Allāh with anyone who degrades the ʿUlamā (scholars); that he remains lowly (i.e insignificant).”

✒ Mercy For Humanity

Prophet Muḥammad Ṣallallāhu-ʿAlaihi Wa Sallam said:

“A man is DOOMED and a LOSER (i.e there’s no Khayr and Raḥmāh for him) if Allāh Taʿālā has not placed in his heart MERCY for the MANKIND.”

Surah Fātir 29-30

Jo log kitaabullah ki tilawat karte hain aur namaz qayam karte hain, aur jo kuch humne unhein rizq diya hai usmein se khule aur chupey kharch karte hain, yaqeenan woh ek aisi tijarat ke mutawaqqeh (umeedwaar) hain jismein hargiz khasara (nuksan) na hoga.
(Is tijarat mein unhon ne apna sabkuch is liye khapaya hai) taa-ke Allah unke ajar pooray ke pooray unko de aur mazeed apne fazl se unko ata farmaye. Beshak Allah bakshne wala aur qadardaan (appreciative) hai.

“Anyone whose soul inclined towards a sin and then he despises it, denies himself (that sin) and leaves it for Allāh, he is increased in uprightness, righteousness and taqwā.”

Surah Al Fatihah

Tareef Allah hi ke liye hai jo tamaam kaayinaat ka Rubb hai. Rehman aur Raheem hai. Roz e jaza ka maalik hai. Hum teri hi ibaadat karte hain aur tujh hi se madad maangte hain. Humein seedha raasta dikha. Un logon ka raasta jinpar tu ne inam farmaya, jo maatoob (incur your wrath) nahin huey, jo bhatke huey nahin hain.
