It only took a small group of protesters to target a press conference with the prime minister to finally force the housing crisis caused by the record immigrant influx into national news.

This demonstrates how an activist strategy which focuses upon generating a media response is able to still make a serious impact even with only a small group of participants. It is also a signal that now is the time for us to push hard on the immigration issue, the polling shows quite clearly that a majority of Australians want immigration radically reduced or cut entirely. We have to keep forcing the issue into public consciousness in coming months as the housing crisis intensifies.
