Arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, my travel to New York has been a delight of a journey for this year. I’m a little nervous since we all know how much of a lasting impact this gala has given to the fashion industry and beyond, right, ??????? Over the years, it has evolved into a star-studded occasion that celebrates the elaboration of reflected time periods, cultures, and even artistic movements, as for this year, we are reveling in the theme of “The Garden of Time,” which is taken from a dystopian 1962 short story by J.G. Ballard that uses a garden as a metaphor for cycles of human creation and destruction. Therefore, I’m conveying my own perception of the theme to elaborate with the paraded goth style from the event itself through the chosen dress I’m wearing for the ??? ???? tonight.

Beholden me in the lovely cobalt hue, I am ready to enthrall everyone and every ?????? with my lulling charm. For this look, I’m wearing a customized piece made by ????̈?, as well with a pearl-embellished belt and matching blue heels. Ruching is one of the most appreciated couture techniques in fashion so I would love to showcase the crafted ruched knitted fabric as it wrapped around my petite body so perfectly. It easily accentuated my features very well and I’m delighted to see how the cutout silhouette turned out to look on me, honestly! The top of the torso is elegantly turned into a floor length cape, so much for class and chicness, right? Inspired by ????̈?’s recent fall 2024 collection, the dress was created by a single merino yarn. The intricacies are incomparable, it exalts a minimal, feminine and alluring curves without resorting to cling. It’s about the simplicity, purity, and finding freedom and the essence of invention. Truly, the garment itself sheds light on this idea, essential to the essence of ????̈? that was always there with Azzedine himself, like a heartbeat, and it remains. What do you think, ???????
