Lost Joy

I have lost my joy,
with my smile turning to a scrowl.
A chorus once of laughter,
has turned to echos of bitter despair.

I have lost my joy,
and although my lips may appear turned up,
my eyes are disconsolate.

My soul is in mourning,
I am hopelessly sad.
My spirit is shattered,
and I have lost all hope.

My eyes well up,
as every tear that leaves my body, leaves my heart aching with yearning.

I have lost my joy.
My heart,
once full of music,
now lies silent and still.
The melodies of joy, replaced with sorrow's chill.

I have lost my joy.
My soul,
once lifted by hope, now weighed down by pain.
Longing to rediscover the joy that once remained.

In this darkness,
I search for a glimmer of light,
A spark to reignite the flame that once shone so bright.

I yearn to find my way back to the joy that I've lost,
To once again feel the warmth of happiness that forever seems to cost.

But for now, my smile hides the tears that I've cried,
My laughter echoes hollow, my heart still heavy with sighs.
I'll hold on to the memories of joy that I once knew,
And pray that someday soon, my heart will heal anew.

Perhaps in time, the pain will fade, and joy will reappear,
And though it seems impossible now,
my heart will learn to cheer.

Until then, I'll hold on to hope, and never let it go,
And trust that joy will return, like a sunrise after a long, dark night's woe.

And when it does, my smile will bloom, my eyes will shine,
And the chorus of laughter will ring out, a sweet, sweet sign that joy has found its way back home, and my heart is whole once more.

And though the journey was long, I've found my way back to joy's sweet shore.

As I walk through the
path
Of love
To seek for my beta half
like a hidden pearl
under the sea

Surely I hope to find,my one
and only
Queen,the one made
for me,

a  virtuous woman
That will hold me tight
like glue ;

And help me fight the
odds of love
In this journey
of love
Full of ups and downs.

A woman that will verily
value 
My heart without fail
Up until we become frail .

Title:Longing for Familiar Steps.

The road we once strolled hand in hand
Now lies in shadows, a haunted land
A nightmare that taunts me, a bittersweet refrain
Echoing memories of joy, of love, of laughter we couldn't contain

In this empty stretch, I feel so alone
A hollow ache that words cannot call home
My heart whispers wishes, a longing to roam
With you, my love, to revive our sweet home

Together, let's reclaim this road we adore
With love and joy, let's walk once more

ART THE WINDOW TO MY SOUL

Art is the form of self expression,
A fine way of shouting what the mouth can't,
It's the only way to run away without leaving home,
And now art is my therapy.

I have mourned and still mourning,
I have cried and still crying,
Wished and still wishing,
Begged and still begging in vain.

Days have passed,
Weeks have changed to months,
No sign of your return,
I give up not but inking I do.

Art is my way of keeping a diary,
I ink you as my treasure,
Every one look I'll smile of pain,
You left but I'll be walking around with you.

I let art drive me through the dark,
For art is a leap into the dark,
Your name I ink so willingly,
You left me but I'll forever see you.
