"Among you there is one who shall invariably fall back; then, if some calamity befalls you, he would say, “Allah has shown His favor to me, as I was not present with them.” (4:72-73)

Imām Qurṭubī (r.a.) states that the above verses signify the hypocrites, as they were the ones who outwardly claimed to be Muslims. This is why they have been identified as a group from among the believers.

Keep a close eye on all those who spoke ill of the Mujāhidīn post-9/11. They belittled the Mujāhidīn in Afghānistān and attributed their success to outside powers, deeming the assistance of Allāh nonexistent. Those who belittled jihad and the Mujāhidīn by saying, as defined by Allāh in the Qur'an: "The belief of these people has deluded them."(8:49)

Gaza has cleansed the ranks and shown who is standing in which trench. I am amazed - but not surprised - at the cowardice of those who show their support through subliminal messages now. When dealing with the Zionist entity, they refer to it as "the oppressor," protecting their dunyā. And now, regarding the Mujāhidīn in Syria, they use similar tactics.

One of the greatest forms of hypocrisy among British Islām stooges is their display of loyalty and support during easy times, merely to appease their masters (the establishment). Did the Prophet (ﷺ) not teach us the importance of brotherhood and standing firm on principles during difficult times?

It is astonishing how, since the Gaza genocide, we are seeing the dust settle and the true colors of those around us pretending to support the cause.

May Allāh save us from cowardice and hypocrisy.

On October 29, 1920. Allāmah Shabbir Ahmed Uthmanī (r.a) delivered Shaikhul Hind's (r.a) presidential address at Aligarh Muslim University. The following excerpt from that address remains etched in the pages of history:

Not of Allāh, but of a few despicable men and their weapons of war and destruction."
