It is more beloved to me to make purchases from an individual belonging to Ahlul Sunnah, even if it means paying more, over buying at a lower price from a Shi’a or any other disbelieving sect. Supporting the one who truly holds Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم in his heart is more beloved and noble to me, even at my own expense, over supporting someone who wages war on my brothers and sisters. The believers are but brothers, they should support and benefit each other in any way they can. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, support and grant victory to your brother, whether he is the oppressed or the oppressor. If he is facing oppression, stand by him and assist him in every possible way; if he is the one oppressing, guide him away from his oppression and injustices. Believers are akin to bricks in a skyscraper, each one crucial in supporting the others, working collectively to strengthen the Ummah and protect one another.
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, the best of the believers is the one most beneficial to his believing brothers.
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever helps ease one in difficulty, Allah will make it easy for him in this world and the Hereafter. Whoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and the Hereafter. Allah helps the servant as long as he helps his brother…” — Sahih Muslim
The believer who follows the Quran and Sunnah upon the methodology of the Sahabah is closer to you than your blood brother if he is not upon the same methodology.
You will never find a people who ˹truly˺ believe in Allah and the Last Day loyal to those who defy Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their parents, children, siblings, or extended family. For those ˹believers˺, Allah has instilled faith in their hearts and strengthened them with a spirit from Him. He will admit them into Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there forever. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. They are the party of Allah. Indeed, Allah’s party is bound to succeed.

Question: What is the ruling on brushing teeth during fasting? Does it invalidate the fast, and are we allowed to use toothpaste or similar products?
Answer: It’s okay to brush your teeth and use toothpaste whilst fastingbut one should be careful not to swallow anything and be moderate in his brushing. Some scholars said it’s preferred not to use toothpaste because of its strength but as long as you don’t swallow it, your fasting is valid.

It is honourable for the man to go out and seek his provisions, the most honourable of all the creation - the Prophets - were Shepards. But work in this life as if you are not going to die and work for the hereafter as if you would die tomorrow.
Verily, the likeness of (this) worldly life is as the water (rain) which We send down from the sky; so by it arises the intermingled produce of the earth of which men and cattle eat: until when the earth is clad in its adornments and is beautified, and its people think that they have all the powers of disposal over it, Our Command reaches it by night or by day and We make it like a clean-mown harvest, as if it had not flourished yesterday! Thus do We explain the Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, laws, etc.) in detail for the people who reflect.
— Surat al-Yunus: 24
The Prophet and his companions on one occasion passed by a man who was striving and working hard. Sweating from his hard labour. The companions asked, “O Prophet of Allah, is that a striving for the sake of Allah?” The Prophet replied, “Anyone who goes out seeking to provide and support his young children is for the sake of Allah. And whosoever goes out to seek provision for his elderly parents is for the sake of Allah. Also, if he goes out seeking provisions for himself (protecting himself from begging) is also for the sake of Allah. And whosoever goes out showing off, filled with pride, that’s for the sake of Shaytaan.
The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: By him in whose hand is my soul, if one of you were to carry a bundle of firewood on his back and sell it, that would be better for him than begging a man who may or may not give him anything.

The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “There has come to you Ramadan, a blessed month, which Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has enjoined you to fast. In it the gates of heavens are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and every devil is chained up. In it Allah has a night which is better than a thousand months; whoever is deprived of its goodness is indeed deprived."
Question: What is the ruling on a woman praying taraweeh at home? What if she hasn't memorised much of the Qur'an? Can she just recite from what she knows? Jazakumallahu khayrun.
Answer: For a woman, it is best to conduct any form of prayer within her home. Even when in Makkah or Medinah; praying inside the confinement of her hotel room is deemed superior to praying in the Masjid, yielding greater rewards, unlike men who are commanded and encouraged to pray in Masaajid.
The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “A woman’s prayer in her room is better than her prayer in her courtyard, and her prayer in her cabinet is better than her prayer in her room.”
— Aboo Dawood & others
This Hadith was said when a Sahabiyat (Umm Humayd the wife of Abu Humayd al-Saa’idi) expressed her desire and preference to pray behind the Messenger of Allah. Thereafter, she instructed for a space dedicated to prayer to be constructed in the deepest and most shadowed section of her home, where she continuously offered prayer until her passing. If that is the case with the greatest Imaam of this Ummah in the best Masjid, what then of others?
In cases where what she has memorized of the Quran is limited and the prayer is non-obligatory, such as Taraweeh, she may hold the Mushaf and recite from it, provided that her recitation is correct. Otherwise she should recite with what she has memorized and is correct from her recitation. However, this does not limit her prayer. She can offer prayer as much as she wants, repeating what she knows, even if she knows little - (the minimum amount one has to read is only two verses). Islam is about quality not quantity.

Question: What is the ruling on someone who takes medicine daily and cannot live without them does he fast ? Does ue need to feed poor people?
May allah protect you and keep you steadfast JezakAllah khair
Answer: If you are on a medication that is a requirement for you to take, and the timing falls during your fasting time, you are exempt from fasting.
If the sickness and medication is chronic, he falls under the category of the one who cannot fast and he should feed a poor person for each day he cannot fast.
You pay whatever you can afford for them to have Iftaar. This can be paid at the beginning of the month (which is best), the middle or the end of the month. The food should be according to the norm of the neighbourhood of the person being fed.
If it is temporary medication for which without his recovery becomes delayed or he becomes further sick, he is excused in fasting this Ramadan but is required to make up the missed fasts when he recovers.
وَعَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يُطِيقُونَهُۥ فِدْيَةٌۭ طَعَامُ مِسْكِين
And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] - a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person [each day].

Question: Is this hadith Sahih? If yes can we apply it during tahajjud in Ramadan?
Abu Dawud (1398) narrated that ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘As said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever prays Qiyam reciting ten verses will not be recorded as one of the heedless. Whoever prays Qiyam reciting one hundred verses will be recorded as one of the devout. Whoever prays Qiyam reciting one thousand verses will be recorded as one of the muqantirin.”
Answer: This is an authentic Hadith and it is an encouragement to prolong the night prayer. One should recite as much as they can from the Quran (without limiting yourself) - this is from the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم who would pray to such a lengthy extent that his blessed feet became swollen. Ramadan is the month of night prayer, whoever is able to do so should take advantage of it and stand before their Lord with humility and sincerity for as long as he seeks blessings, forgiveness, reward and answers to his supplications.
There is a Hadith that mentions the Messenger of Allah used to be consecutive in his actions, and Allah loves those deeds which are consistent. Therefore, it is better to do what you are able to do every night without overexertion (and to incrementally build upon them) rather than to engage intensely in a routine for a week, become overwhelmed, and then abandon it altogether. This is what we saw in our epitome example - our Messenger Muhammad - his work and worship was consistent
صلى الله عليه وسلم .
This is with regard to every day actions, as for performing in Ramadan, Ramadan is the month we markedly elevate our devotion due to the significant rewards and mercy Allah bestows upon His servants. Nonetheless, the wise and intelligent one is the one who acknowledges that this escalation of worship is a year-long process. The closer to Ramadan you get, the more you increase, so you can take full advantage of Ramadan without succumbing to complete exhaustion in this month. Of course there will be fatigue, and tiredness and a lot occurs in this month, but not to the extent that you give up! Increase your recitation of the Quran, your Salah, and all virtuous acts in advance so that they may culminate and reach your peak during Ramadan. Certainly, one who did not stand in night prayer throughout the year will find difficulty in standing in prayer for an hour or so in Ramadan.

Question: When rinsing your nose in wudhu and accidentally swallowing the water does it break your fast?
Answer: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Perform ablution well, clean the base of your fingers, and sniff water deep into your nose, unless you are fasting.”
— at-Tirmidhi
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم stated clearly, exaggerate in cleaning your nose - only if you’re not fasting.
Generally, we clean our nose deeply, exaggerating in the inhalation of cleaning your nose because the Shaytan resides in there.
The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “When one of you wakes up from his sleep, he must clean his nose (with water, by sniffling it in and then blowing it out) three times, for Satan spends the night inside one’s nostrils.” [in another narration, on the top of the nose].
— Bukhari & Muslim
Qadi Iyad رحمه الله said, it is probable that this statement is meant literally. He went on to explain that the nose serves as a passage to the mind. All body openings have shutters (protective mechanisms) except for the nose and ears. In another Hadith we are informed that Shaytan does not open what is shut, that’s why we are commanded to suppress our yawns to avert the entry of Shaytan through the mouth and exiting through the rectal.
However, we do not do this exaggeration when we are fasting, the Shaytan is locked up, we take a moderate approach. We are not as vigorous but gently clean. If some water happens to be swallowed accidentally, then this is a mistake but it does not invalidate the fast (so long as it was not intentional, so one should take precaution in this matter).

Question: Which one is better
A) doing delivery in DoorDash (delivery items which has pork) and pray taraweeh or
B) delivery in pizza which maybe has haram chicken (owner Muslim and always say that all food here is halal) but missing taraweeh ?
Answer: The answer to the question lies in the Shari’ ruling we have: To prevent an evil or harm takes precedence over achieving benefit.
Transporting pork or pork-containing products is Haram. Therefore, it is not permissible at all to participate in this regardless of if you are able to attend the Taraweeh or not because you cannot perform a Haram to participate in a supererogatory action.
Ideally, it is best to seek employment that is Halal and also allows for participation in Taraweeh prayers with the congregation. However, if this is not possible, aim to arrange your schedule to facilitate prayer on your own at least.
When this is not feasible, then we recommend delivering Pizza as this is the permissible option. We have a principal in the Shari’ah: obligatory duties outweigh voluntary ones. So it is permissible to miss the Taraweeh in order to be uphold a Halal income and provide for yourself and family in this case.
As for the owner being Muslim and saying his food is Halal, this is sufficient for you because your doubt of it is merely suspicion and baseless doubts and suspicion have no place in Islam.
