⚡️Said Muzaffarizade, the general director of #SouthAzerbaijan’s #Tractor football club, has warned that the club will escalate its complaint to FIFA if no action is taken against Persepolis fans for chanting racist and ethnic slurs.

"We have taken all necessary legal steps through the Football Federation. If urgent and effective measures are not implemented, we will escalate the issue to FIFA," Muzaffarizade stated.

He emphasized that authorities must "once and for all" address racism in stadiums. If they fail, FIFA has the power to intervene and resolve the issue.

⚡️A #SouthAzerbaijan'i political prisoner Hamid Garaoglani, serving a 13-year sentence in #Urmia prison, has been on hunger strike since January 13.

Garaoglani, who has been imprisoned for nearly five years, is protesting the lack of response to his requests for conditional release. His health is reported to be in serious condition, and he is facing additional pressure from prison authorities.

⚡️#SouthAzerbaijan'i student activist Armita Pavir, detained in #Tabriz prison, was assaulted by prison security staff while in solitary confinement. Her lawyer, Gasim Bodi, reported that Pavir sustained injuries to her head and neck in the attack. Pavir was last arrested on September 21, 2023, facing charges of "insulting the leader (Khamenei)," "propaganda against the state," and "participation in student protests" at Shahid Madani University in East Azerbaijan. She was sentenced to 22 months and 17 days in prison.

⚡️#SouthAzerbaijan'i national activist Karim Ismailzade declared solidarity, stating, "We fully support the imprisoned activists and their families!"

⚡️An art exhibition showcasing works by #SouthAzerbaijan'i national activist and artist Murtaza Parvin was held in #Ardabil prison, supported by local Azerbaijani artists and activists. Over 40 pieces, primarily abstract artworks created under challenging prison conditions, were displayed to raise awareness and support for Parvin, who is serving a six-year sentence imposed by Tehran’s Revolutionary Court. Proceeds from the exhibition will aid Azerbaijani prisoners held in #Evin prison. Parvin, a 33-year-old artist and activist from Ardabil, was arrested at his father’s home by intelligence forces without a warrant.
