When I first thought of the book, I saw it as a very bright one that immediately captures attention
So, orange or yellow came to mind

Some of my friends tho suggested calmer colors (White and blue like “1001 nights” motif)

Avoiding a problem will only worsen the situation

Procrastination is actually a way to delay whatever feels unpleasant or scary at the moment. And not only tasks. Talking with your family member on a difficult topic. Avoiding your employee who is asking for their salary or promotion. Ignoring someone’s messages because you “don’t feel like answering right now.” You are basically just avoiding the act of talking with someone because you are scared of it. Because you don’t feel like you’re ready yet.

The thing is, you can be ready whenever you decide to be. Having an open conversation with your family will prevent many misunderstandings and bad feelings. Being open with your workers on sensitive issues won’t leave them feeling mistreated, confused or frustrated. And replying to people’s messages instead of previewing them will make you seem a better human being. Really

Open communication makes life much easier

A person with no integrity is perhaps the most dishonest one

One of the most common types of students is the one that always find excuses not to get things done. Wasn’t feeling well. Forgot. Had other jobs to do. They are the loudest ones to shout around saying they have to study, that they have only a month left till their IELTS exam, but when it comes to the job itself they always find a way to excuse themselves. They ask you for help, you try to guide them and give suggestions but all in vain as they don’t follow even one thing from what you advised to do. With such people, advice is only a waste of words.

They say you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink. You can try to help a person, but it doesn’t matter until they themselves take responsibility for their progress.

And it’s not only about studies but any other aspect of life. Your plans and ideas have no value until you go out there and get things done. For that, you must have some honesty with yourself. Ask yourself what is important to you and what you have to do in order to achieve that. Be honest talking with yourself. Procrastination, laziness and other ways of avoiding hard work all have the same origin - dishonesty, lack of integrity.

Only you are responsible for your life and progress.

Past two o’clock in the morning

We all advocate for speaking up, for raising awareness of problems in our society. In most situations it is crucial to do so as it helps us to stand up for what it is right and contribute valuable ideas and perspectives. Still, “blind speaking up,” that is bringing up the topic of your concern whenever possible like a parrot with no consideration of the situation, does more harm than good.

Why? You must know when to speak up and when to stay silent. Staying silent does not equal ignoring the problem or conforming to societal standards. It means maintaining your social image for your words to have a greater effect. People generally don’t like those who always ‘complain’ about the situation in the world/society/their life. So instead of losing the value of your words by throwing them to the air and annoying those around you when you haven’t yet established any good reputation, it’s better to choose good timing.

After all, if we all live in society, it’s only wise to act with all of its aspects in mind.

“Over the years I've found that true talent is often unaware of its own brilliance, it must be cherished and protected. But hacks, they are around, shouting their delicious ideas, begging to be recognized, lying to their own mediocrity.”

Tasks without deadlines are the easiest ones to procrastinate. If there is no end date, focus on the amount of time you spend on the activityAssignments have deadlines they must be submitted by, but what about your own projects you have to work on? You want to see the results but during the day you just don’t feel like doing it.

The best advice I’ve heard for writing is to never depend on your mood. So what if right now you’re not enthusiastic and excited? So what if you’re ‘not in the mood’ to write?
In your daily agenda, write down something similar to “Working on the book from 4pm to 6pm.” Writing doesn’t have clear deadlines, it’s up to you completely, but what you can do is to set the amount of time you are ready to dedicate to the activity.
That makes your work consistent.
