Key Responsibilities:
-Preparation of analytical reports, investment memoranda, and presentation materials;
- Market analysis, trends, business models, and relevant information search;

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in finance/economics;

The Position
(Sr.) Investment Associate (Private Equity) is an important position in WIM’s Alternative Capital business, focusing on origination, analysis and execution of investment transactions, and supervision of portfolio companies.

Principal Responsibilities

The role assumes the following responsibilities:
• Search for new investments / transactions. Conduct industry and business analysis for targets
• Communicate with investment targets, originate and negotiate investment deals
• Actively participate in deal execution, including drafting term sheets, reviewing transaction documents, managing DD process, producing presentation materials and financial models
• Actively participate in monitoring and control of portfolio companies
• Actively participate in exits from portfolio companies

• Communicate effectively with team members as well as all other business stakeholders
• Continuously develop his/her own professional and personal skills

Key Competencies/ Qualifications/ Background
This position requires:
• 4-5 years of similar experience at a PE/VC Fund, IB, M&Aor deal advisory. Alternatively, legal advisory or other investment lawyer experience is acceptable, provided that the candidate has focused on drafting transaction documents
• Deal execution experience in all of its stages: origination, analysis, DD, negotiations & structuring
• A track record of closed deals
• A network of relevant contacts is a plus
• Good analytical, research, writing, presentation and communication skills
• Exceptional business judgment. Good knowledge of some of the traditional and “new economy” sectors
• Good knowledge of corporate finance, valuation and financial modelling as well as understanding of the PE/VC business. CFA level(s) passed is a plus
• Strong work ethic. Proliferating positive, engaging and humane relationships
