لا تستخدام أدوية antidiarrheal مثل دواء
loperamide or diphenoxylate/atropine or codien

مع مريض الـ inflammatory bowel disease مثل ulcerative colitis or Crohn s disease

لانه يسبب خطر ظهوور toxic megacolon و هو توسع القولون وعلاماته انتفاخ شديد في البطن وهو أحد المضاعفات الخطيرة الذي قد تسبب الوفاة
