Statement on the Leadership Failures of Commissioner Christine Bradley Miller

Since taking office in 2024, You Commissioner Christine Bradley Miller have demonstrated a troubling pattern of incompetence, poor decision-making, and disregard for the responsibilities of your position.

Most recently, at the February 13th BOCC meeting, you made the blatantly incorrect claim that you represent “all of the people.” In reality, as the District 4 Commissioner, your primary duty is to serve and advocate for the residents of your own district—not to overstep your role or mislead the public about her authority.
As you so freely demonstrated last night you are not a representative of District 4 but for ALL the people including land developers that do not live in the district themselves!!!
Your ignorance about your role representing your own constituents has now jeopardized the health and safety and wellbeing of our community!
To the residence of District 4:

This alarming ignorance of her own position only adds to a growing list of failures. Rather than providing the leadership and accountability that this office demands, Commissioner Miller has become a symbol of ineffective governance and missed opportunities. She had the opportunity to be a true representative and advocate forr our people in the rural district, she EPICALLY Failed on the EIP development!!!
The residents of Hillsborough County deserve a commissioner who understands the scope of their responsibilities, prioritizes the concerns of their constituents, and works tirelessly for the betterment of the community. Instead, we have been met with administrative blunders, political grandstanding, and a failure to deliver meaningful results.

It is time for real leadership, not empty promises and fundamental misunderstandings of duty. If Commissioner Miller cannot rise to the occasion, then she must step aside in favor of someone who will. Hillsborough County and our district 4 population deserves better, she should apologize withdrawal her vote or resign
