Happy Friday everyone! I wanted to share an interesting phrasal verb with you: to bring up

It has different meanings, depending on the context:
1. To introduce a topic in a conversation (e.g. She brought up the idea of going to Greece next summer)
2. To raise a child (e.g. They brought up their children with a strong sense of responsibility OR I was brought up in England)
3. To remember a past fact/incident (e.g. The lawyer brought up evidence from years ago)

to give in = to finally agree to do something after resisting it or to stop trying to fight/argue

e.g. I didn’t want to eat dessert but eventually gave in to the temptation ?
