And how honored is your pursuit, O seeker of martyrdom!
When you recognize the immense favor and blessing Allah has bestowed upon you,
to be part of the blessed caravan of martyrdom,
especially in a time when its seekers are few.
In a time when the Ummah stands at the brink of despair,
battling pain and horror that know no bounds,
when it is certain that the only solution lies in jihad and nothing but jihad.

The world is filled with empty chatter, devoid of action,
amid a sea of slander, where betrayal feels abundant,
and victory seems distant.

Thus, the duty of every worker in the path of Allah during this difficult time
is to renew their reliance on Him,
to correct their intentions,
to gather their supplies of patience,
to stock up on piety,
and to prepare for what lies ahead. This requires essential provisions to carry out this work and to overcome one’s own dislikes in pursuit of what one loves.

And always remain mindful that Allah may replace you
deprive you of the honor of martyrdom.
And what a great loss it would be to know you were not part of the glorious victory that Allah has promised for the believers.

When you reflect on the brothers who achieved martyrdom, it's impossible not to sense that there was something profoundly special between them and Allah. In their daily lives, they seemed just like us; eating, drinking, laughing, and carrying out their everyday tasks. Yet, there must have been something deeper, something unseen, that distinguished them. From millions of Muslims, including those who longed for such an honorable end, they were chosen to make hijrah, to stand at the frontlines, bearing the banner of Allah, and ultimately, to be granted the gift of martyrdom.

Perhaps it was their sincerity, their unwavering love for the religion of Allah. Maybe it was their sincere yearning for paradise, their deep and consuming fear of the fire. Or it might have been the tears they shed in the stillness of the night, in sujood, beseeching Allah for martyrdom while the world slept. It could have been their quiet preparation, their readiness to give up everything, to sacrifice the most valuable thing they had, their very lives and souls, for the sake of Allah. Their aspiration to be the building blocks of the Ummah's glory, to stand up for the oppressed....

Undoubtedly, there were secrets between them and Allah secrets that set them apart.

Jıhad is a true blessing from Allah for the people whom He choses to spread his Message and elevate His Words.

Contemplate deeply about the favour's of Allah bestowed upon the Mujähıdeen who is excused from the actions of nawafil prayers and fasting yet through the Mercy of Allah their rewards can never be gained by the most ascetic man residing in a cave away from people spending his night sleepless standing in night prayer and who fasts continously.

Mujähıdeen who are wearing their heavy armors and walking ahead leaving behind their families at the trust of Allah.

Mujähıdeen who are crouching up the rocky mountains steadying their guns moving like shilhouts amongst the greenery and brown of trunks.

Mujähıdeen whose feets and faces are soiled with the dust of battles, a million mile away from their home lands.

Mujähıdeen who are facing the intense bombardment and drones from above them while running on foot.

And as the battle dusts slows it is time for the Mujähıdeen to encircle and wrap the liberated area with their standing of Ribath.

Mujähıdeen who are standing guard in tiny trenches in the blazing heat of the sun and during the cold of bleaky winter nights.

Mujähıdeen who stands still like a Hawks watching and binding their time in tunnels and amongst the ancient trees of olives, for that one precise aim to secure the lives of Muslimeen behind him.

When Allah chooses you to be amongst this blessed rank there is no ceasing of praising for the Lord of Aalamin.

Some scholars have mentioned a very insightful linguistic meaning:

Shar'a: To take water with the mouth, from which the term mashra'a (water source) is derived.

The author of Lisan al-Arab said: "A mashra'a refers to the places from which water flows down."

A water source is only called shari'a if its water is readily available, pure, and on the surface of the earth, making it easily accessible to everyone without the need for a rope to draw it out. This linguistic meaning beautifully aligns with the technical meaning of shari'a as the divine law that is pure and accessible to all. Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life." (Quran 8:24).

In time of intense need and poverty, giving charity to those in need is worthier than voluntary Ḥajj. Moreover, directing uḍḥiyah/qurbani (sacrificial meat) to them is better than doing so in a rich country, as is the case in Syria today.
