?? **Dear Parents,

Prioritize Your Children: Make time for them and always be present. Remember, what a child sees and hears shapes who they will become. Don't take advantage of their innocence. Parenting is not easy, but it's a choice you made, so handle it with patience and care.

Mental Health Matters: Many adults struggle with mental health issues due to their childhood experiences. Everything stems from childhood and what a child is exposed to. Therefore, it's crucial to:

1. Love Unconditionally: Don't make your children feel indebted to you for raising them; it’s your obligation. Instead, raise them with love and let them understand that obedience and helping out are natural responses to being raised well, as taught by Islam.

2. Listen Actively: Children are often smarter than we give them credit for. Give them your attention and listen to their concerns. This fosters understanding and helps them feel valued.

3. Be Their Friend: The closer you are to your child, the easier it is to parent. Build a bond of friendship and respect. When disciplining them, explain why. This ensures they understand your actions are out of love, which strengthens your bond and prevents future issues.

Protect Their Innocence: Avoid making them grow up too quickly. Overexposure to phones, tablets, and social media can be harmful. Encourage natural play and physical activities. Boys should engage in sports and learn skills like martial arts, while girls should explore sports, arts, and crafts. Let children enjoy their childhood so they can grow into well-adjusted adults.

Communicate Regularly: Have personal check-ins with your children to understand their challenges. Make family time a priority—eating together at least for breakfast and dinner can teach them the value of family and its importance in Islam.

Lead by Example: Fathers, be the role models and leaders of your household. Your role extends beyond providing; it includes guiding and nurturing. Mothers, your responsibilities go far beyond cooking and cleaning. Both parents must play their respective roles effectively.

Single Mothers: Your role is even more challenging as you juggle multiple responsibilities. Be patient and resilient—the end result will be rewarding.

Follow the Prophetic Example: Let us take Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his wives as our role models in parenting and family life.

The ruler is a guardian of his subjects, the man is a guardian of his family, the woman is a guardian and is responsible for her husband's house and his offspring; and so all of you are guardians and are responsible for your subjects."
