With headlines and images of suffering and oppression arriving without a need to request them, with the hypocrisy of figures shining increasingly, and with the lack of ability to physically result in a change, one would naturally feel the urge to stop and give up, to remain isolated and cry in silence for there's no one listening, to burn internally for the rest of their lifetime...

Do we really think that the Muslims of Palestine, Syria, Bosnia, Burma, East Turkestan, Sudan, Bangladesh, India, Yemen, Libya, Iraq and so on are all going to forgive us?
I don't think that's a question to be asking in the first place...

What one could hope for is that the pain we feel, the donations we make, the news we spread, the awareness we raise, the actions we take, can collectively prevent us from facing the awaiting afterlife punishment by the will of Allah... For it is His forgiveness that we seek before all else.

But if we do not act at the moment, we did not act before, and we do not plan to act in the future, what hope do we have? What can we bank on?

Yes the wait till the dust settles will be painful, but at least make it a productive wait, if you fail to do something now, while seeing what I need not describe, what will you do without any urgency?

O Allah we seek your forgiveness from our shortcomings..

There isn't always a need to say something
There always is a need to act, whatever form the action may take.

Not just waking up, they're preparing, they're mobilizing.

May Allah make us part of that group, may He use us in what pleases Him and not replace us.
