Abu Jaafar said: A reward that is unlike the rewards of princes.
Ibn Rajab said: If those who fast complete the fasting and praying in Ramadan, then they have fulfilled their work and what remains for them is the reward, which is forgiveness. If they go out on the day of Eid al-Fitr to pray, their rewards are divided among them, and they return to their homes whilst having received their complete recompense.

Abu Raafi’ said: “I prayed behind Umar bin Al-Khattab (RA) - and he performed Qunout after Rukoo, raising his hands, and supplicating out loud.” Al-Bayhaqi {Al-Sunan Al-Kubra} (2/212) said: “This is authentic on the authority of Umar.”

وعن أبي رافع قال : " صليت خلف عمر بن الخطاب - رضي الله عنه - فقنت بعد الركوع ، ورفع يديه ، وجهر بالدعاء " . أخرجه البيهقي في " السنن الكبرى " (2/212) ، وقال " هذا عن عمر صحيح " .

It is not allowed to trade in the land of war if their laws are applied on the traders, and it is not allowed to bring them weapons, nor horses, nor anything that may be used to strengthen them against Muslims. This is the opinion of Umar Ibn Abdul-Aziz, ‘Ataa, ‘Amr Ibn Dinar, Ibn Hazm and others.

The Hanbali judge & scholar Abu Al-Yaman Al-‘Ulaimi (860-928 AH) said: “If Gaza had nothing to be proud of except being the birth place of the Prophet Sulayman and Imam Al-Shafi’i, then that would have been enough for it.”
