A Note to the Inner-self

Dear me,

"If there is no enemy within, the enemy outside could do us no harm." African Proverb

Change yourself! Harness your potentials not your flaws.

Count your blessings not your worries.

Be on the solution side than just cry over what went wrong.

Know that there is more you could achieve, more you could get and a lot more you could make.

You could reach the heights in life, make things work for you and people and circumstances align with you.

You have always the opportunity now, on the present moment, to better your best.

But it all happens when you believe in your self, know that you have the potentials and the passion and commitment to achieve it.

Take the moment, do it now - listen and connect with your inner self!

May you have a week filled with enlightenment.

A Note for the Inner- Self

Dear Me,

“You cannot help getting older but you don’t have to get old.” George Burns

The best way to keep your soul young all the time is when you take a good care of your MIND, BODY and SPIRIT.

MIND – Always engage yourself in a continuous self development and learning. Read books, make it your everyday habit. Commit to at least read thirty pages a day. Don’t say it is impossible, just do it this way – ten pages in the morning, ten pages during the day and ten more in the evening. Surround yourself with people that inspire you, enlighten you and bring the best out of you.

BODY – Take a good care of your body, your temple. Mind what and how much you eat and drink. Develop a health plan – exercise, jog in the morning, take long walks or do dance as often as you can. And at all times do find a reason to smile, smile from the heart, smile till you cry your eyes out and hurts you at your tummy. A good laughter has the power to burn belly fats that you can’t get rid of even with physical exercise.

SPIRIT – Invest enough time in your everyday to meditate, to pray and to listen to your inner voice. Remember what you expose yourself to in the first twenty minutes when you wake up in the morning have power to shape your emotion of the rest of the day. Listen to inspiring audio books. And if you ever listen to music, please do make sure you listen to music with worthy contents and value and do make sure to avoid negatively tuned ones.

May your day be filled with gratifying moments and inspiring encounters.

All We Need is Today

“All we need is the morning. As long as there is sunrise, then there is the possibility that we can face all of our misfortunes, celebrate all our blessings, and live all our endeavors as human beings.

Spirituality is something that has become necessary in these troubled times. Yet it is inherently superfluous.

We need it to remind ourselves, to bolster ourselves, to integrate ourselves, to fulfill ourselves.

If we could simply acknowledge the mystery of night and the glory of morning, we would need neither civilization nor spirituality.

At its simplest, life begins with dawn. That is blessing enough. All else becomes fullness immeasurable. At dawn, kneel down and give thanks for this wonderful event.

We may think mornings are so common they are unworthy of veneration, but do you realize most places in the cosmos do not have mornings?

This daily event is our supreme goodness. Greet the dawn. That is your miracle to witness. That is the ultimate beauty. That is sacredness. That is your gift from heaven.

That is knowledge that life is not futile. That is enlightenment. That is your meaning in life. That is your directive.

That is your comfort. That is the solemnity of duty. That is inspiration for compassion. That is the light of the ultimate.”

A Note for the Inner-self - From My Month Memoir

Dear Me,

Each person you meet is like a book; filled with experiences, talents and wisdom while some might be like the kind of person you want to avoid because of their negative personality, bad perspectives or self centered attitudes others are like social magnets; they are the kind of people you want to have around all the time through their charm, optimism, kindheartedness and never ending alluring personality.

As Ann Frank once said every person is kind at heart and its only the experiences they go through that sores their being. So if you manage how you react to your encounters in your everyday, some end up being your inspirations while others through the rough times you have with them end up being your biggest sources of lessons.

May your everyday be colored with people who end up being your source of motivation, inspiration and reason for your betterment.

Note for The Day

"It's not the problems that we face that define us but how we choose to handle them." From the movie series 'The Missing'

Dear me,

Be wise in how you deal with what you face, both the good and the bad. Don't forget you are your own close guide and mentor just as much as you are your own best enemy sabotaging your way forward. And at all times bear this words in your mind "If there is no enemy from within, the enemy outside can do us no harm."

Learn to hold your head up and cultivate the greatness that lies within you.

An inspiring productive day to you!

A Note for the Inner- Self – From My Month Memoir

Dear Me,

Most often you are so much engrossed by the ‘ME’ mentality or by the “I AM ALWAYS RIGHT!” syndrome and ignore the feelings of many around you. Whether people feel good or bad about you, you rarely take time to ask the two most essential questions:

“What is it that they see in me that they preferred to stay around?” or

“Why are they always the critiques for my deeds and actions?”

Your most frequent reaction is mainly driven from ego and too often by fear. When people appreciate you, talks highly of you or when they take you as their charming champion, your egoistic self takes over and you just want to consider that as if it’s all because of what have done, who you are or have achieved. And when you encounter people who find the flaws in your deeds, points out your weak point or at times punish you the wrongs you might have done, you always find them as your enemy and strive to disprove them. Not because you wanted the change but because of the fear of not to be who they thought you were.

Seriously though, before you go on to your egoistic high horse or fear takes over how you are and how you react, I really wish you take the time to ask yourself the two basic questions. The love and respect people may have to you, how they say you make them feel or their unwavering desire to listen to you because they say you inspire them, goes beyond who you are and what you have done. It is mainly because that’s what they are and what their heart seeks to see in you. And if you find people criticizing your every act, dictate you to do this and that or be blunt enough to tell you upfront your flaws and failings, it’s not to demean your personality or be seen as the better achiever than you, but most often it is to bring out the best you in you. And maybe, just maybe, they don’t want you to make the same mistake they have done. Isn’t it always the case that we see in others what we have in us or seek to have in us?

I know you don’t worry that much about what people feel, think and say about you. But only if you give yourself the chance to connect to the souls of the people around you, you would be amazed and by far more inspired by the perspectives they have of you to shape your life for a better.

Don’t always see yourself from your own ego driven mindset. Give chance for others to have footprints in your souls and let them give you the honor to see yourself from their glasses.

May you have a weekend filled with enlightening moments!

A Note for the Inner-self

Dear me,

"Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it." Groucho Marx

Invest your energy on what brings you more joy, happiness and gratitude. Because what you give power and attention breeds and grows more. So may you live every moment of the day with purpose and meaning. May you practice kindness and humility. May you also be a channel of hope and inspiration for yourself and all those around you. And may you learn the joy of being passionate in what you do.

Remember, you take charge of your life by how you choose to respond to the events that happened rather then by how you react to the conditions.

May you have a rewarding day.

A Note for the Inner-self

Dear me,

"By believing passionately in that which doesn't exist, we create it. That which is nonexistent hasn't been passionately desired." Nikos Kazantzakis

Your life is the manifestation of your continuous thought and your current circumstances are the results of where you had invested your energy on. By desiring positive and inspiring thoughts and by surrounding yourself with kindness and humility you create your future - a future that is enlightening and gratifying.

May you have a positively tuned inspiring day.

An Everyday Reminder to the Inner-self

Dear me,

Don't be stubborn. If you ever be so, let it be to your desire and commitment to change your life for better.

Don't lie. If you ever do so, don't at least lie to yourself. There isn't more demeaning in life than to believe your own lies and let them define you.

Don't judge people. If you ever do so, judge yourself for not learning from your past self and making the same mistake over and over again.

And don't be tired. If you ever be so, be tired of the voice in you that talks you out of achieving your goals, living the truth and doing the right thing.

May you have a day of enlightenment!

THE NAKED TRUTH

According to a 19th century legend, the Truth and the Lie meet one day. The Lie says to the Truth: "It's a marvellous day today"! The Truth looks up to the skies and sighs, for the day was really beautiful. They spend a lot of time together, ultimately arriving beside a well. The Lie tells the Truth: "The water is very nice, let's take a bath together!" The Truth, once again suspicious, tests the water and discovers that it indeed is very nice. They undress and start bathing. Suddenly, the Lie comes out of the water, puts on the clothes of the Truth and runs away. The furious Truth comes out of the well and runs everywhere to find the Lie and to get her clothes back. The World, seeing the Truth naked, turns its gaze away, with contempt and rage. The poor Truth returns to the well and disappears forever, hiding therein, its shame. Since then, the Lie travels around the world, dressed as the Truth, satisfying the needs of society, because, the World, in any case, harbours no wish at all to meet the naked Truth.

The world famous painting- "The Truth coming out of the well" Jean-Léon Gérôme, 1896.
