? نِعَمُ الله لا تُحصى ولا تُعد في نفسك فهل أنت شاكر لله؟!?

« لو تفكرت في نفسك، ونظرت في نفسك: لوجدت نعمُ الله لا تُحصى ولا تُعد في نفسك، {وَفِي أَنفُسِكُمْ ۚ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ}.

? فإن كنت تتكلم فغيرك لا يتكلم.
?? وإن كنت تسمع وتبصر فغيرك لا يسمع ولا يبصر.
?? وإن كنت تأكل وتتهنأ بأكلك فغيرك أصابه المرض؛ لا يستطيع أن يأكل.
?? وإن كنت تركب على السيارة فغيرك يمشي على رجليه.
? وإن كنت تمشي على رجليك فغيرك بلا رجلين.
?? إن كنت تنام في بيتك آمناً على الفرش ومرتاحاً ومتنعماً فغيرك ينام على الطرقات وفي الصحاري وفي الجبال؛ أصابتهم ويلات الفتن.

? فنِعمُ الله كثيرة لا تُعد ولا تُحصى، فهل أنتم شاكرون؟؟!»

عن هانئ مولى عثمان قال: كان عثمان إذا وقف على قبر بَكى حتى يَبُلَّ لحيته، فقيل له: تَذْكُر الجنة والنار فلا تَبكي وتبكي مِن هذا؟ فقال: إن رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم- قال: «إنَّ القبرَ أولُ مَنْزِل من منازل الآخرة، فإنْ نجا منه فما بعده أيسر منه، وإنْ لم ينجُ منه فما بعده أشد منه».

Hāni’, the freed slave of ‘Uthmān, reported: Whenever ‘Uthmān stood by a grave, he would cry until his beard became wet. It was said to him: "You remember Paradise and Hell and you do not cry, and yet you cry over this?" So he said: "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Verily, the grave is the first stage of the stages of the Hereafter. If one is saved from it, what comes after it is easier than it is. And if one is not saved from it, then what comes after it is harder than it is.'"

✍? قال الإمام ابن القيم - رحمه الله - :
«جهاد النفس مقدم على جهاد العدو فمن لم يجاهد نفسه أولا لتفعل ما أمرت به وتترك ما نهيت عنه، لم يمكنه جهاد عدوه في الخارج؛ فكيف يمكنه جهاد عدوه والانتصاف منه وعدوه الذي بين جنبيه قاهر له، متسلط عليه، لم يجاهده! ».

✍️ Imam Ibn Al -Qayyim - may God have mercy on him - said:

"The jihad of the soul is presented to the enemy's jihad, so whoever does not struggle himself first to do what I commanded and leaves what he forbade him, he could not jihad his enemy abroad; so how can he jihad his enemy and recover from him and his enemy who was between his sides is compelling to him, dominated by him, he did not fight him!"

? Benefits from the lesson of Umdat Al-Ahkam with our honorable Sheikh Adel bin Moawad Al-Wadi’i, may God protect him ?

On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them, he said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, passed by two graves and said: “They are tormented, but they are not tormented for a major sin. Why did you do this? He said, “Perhaps it will be lightened for them as long as they do not dry out.”

? The hadeeth does not indicate the legitimacy of placing the newspaper on the grave for several reasons, including:

1⃣ It is an accident of the eye, and it is not proven that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, did it except this time.
2⃣ That the Companions, may God be pleased with them, did nothing during his life or after his death except what came from Buraydah (that he instructed that they put a newspaper on his grave).
3⃣ That the reason for putting the newspaper is the torment of the two legs, and it is an unseen matter that God made known to His Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family and peace, and no one else is possible.
4⃣ That her status was an intercession from the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family and peace, and others like him.
