Our First Blast Gold Distribution

The Gold will finalize on the Thruster front-end and on the Blast leaderboard soon! If you are a user of Juice, Particle, and Hyperlockfi, we first distributed Gold to these protocols, who will then forward the Gold to your accounts directly.

Please be patient as this may take some time!

In the first round of Blast Gold distribution, Thruster was the biggest beneficiary, receiving nearly 600,000 Gold! Gold was distributed to protocols to promote organic and long-term growth of the top Blast-native projects.

When distributed, Gold was recommended to be used in ways that promote long-term growth of the application and focused on users that are providing value to said application and its ecosystem. Protocols were also told to avoid promoting activities that may detract from an organic and safe ecosystem (e.g. wash trading, pump and dumps, etc.). This premise was at the top of our mind when putting together a weighted model to distribute the Gold:

Our first distribution was to LPs in top legitimate pools (comprising over 95% of time-weighted TVL and summed volume) between launch and March 30th, similar to how Blur distributes Points to liquidity providers vs. traders to avoid wash trading. We factored in time-weighted TVL, total volume, and liquidity provider fees.

Over 10,000 Thruster LPs are now the recipients of Blast Gold so far!

We will use the remaining Gold distributed to Thruster in the first round for future distribution rounds in the coming weeks, along with the Gold we get from Blast in future rounds.

Our success so far was not done solely on our own, it’s thanks to you our community and our partners for helping to support our rapid growth. The top three integrators of Thruster LP tokens were eligible for some additional Blast Gold, which will be sent to these protocols’ users to further support growth in Thruster and the broader Blast ecosystem:

Juice: 20,000 Gold
Hyperlock: 10,000 Gold
Particle: 5,000 Gold

Boosting Your Gold Rewards - the Best Gold Farms on Blast

We’re really proud of the success of Thruster’s group of partners so far on Blast, which has been represented in the initial Blast Gold distribution.

Our partners collected collective millions of Blast Gold, which will be distributed to their users as well.

What’s really exciting about using Thruster is that in some scenarios, you can stack Gold earning by providing LP on Thruster and using another protocol at the same time. To give a few concrete examples:

Juice: Juice provides Vaults to access certain Thruster liquidity pools like ezETH and USDB/ETH. Gold is earned both from Thruster, when liquidity is provided, and from Juice, when USDB or ETH is borrowed from the protocol and deployed into strategies. As the #1 winner in the lending category,

Metastreet: Metastreet’s LCTs are liquid derivatives of deposits in Metastreet's NFT pool lending markets. At the forefront of NFTFi, Metastreet got over 100,000 Blast Gold. LPs of Metastreet's LCTs on Thruster will earn Gold from both Metastreet and Thruster, then also Blast Points, Metastreet LCT yield, and Thruster Credits.

Particle: Particle allows Thruster LPs to deposit into Particle to enable leverage trading on top of any Thruster-listed asset. Particle LPs will earn Gold from both protocols, alongside native Particle and Thruster rewards as well.

Hyperlock: Thruster LPs can boost their Gold via Hyperlock and also get started learning more about the forthcoming yield flywheel.

Each of these examples, and the many more that are out there, can appeal to different users as each one carries separate risk profiles. Always make sure to do your research before deploying liquidity!
