Brother, I want to discipline it a little... I want to escape, my brother. I am certain that serving these people is salvation, and certainly, the Awaited One will be present.

My brother, I want something from their dust to cling to me so that the dust in my heart may be cleared. That’s why I beg you, don’t deprive me of this thing."

During the summer semester, our professor asked us a question during the first lecture: " If you where to be placed in an island and had the chance to take only three things, what would they be?"

There were many answers. Most of which were: a phone, books, and even someone mentioned a shisha.
Until it came to Jawad's turn, he said:" A set of books, a small table and a heart inhabited by Allah s.w.t."
His answer caught the professor's attention, and she asked him about the meaning behind his choice.
He replied, " Imam Khomeini said: ' Changing the world requires a set of books, a small table, a matress on the floor, two pillows, and a hear inhabited by Allah s.w.t.' "

As many of you are aware, the brutal actions of the illegal occupation in the Middle East have once again brought terror to Lebanon. These acts are nothing short of terrorism.

However, history has shown time and again that true victory belongs to those who remain steadfast in their beliefs and convictions.

Though we may be thousands of miles away, we can still make a difference by attending protests, donating, and offering our prayers.

When Ibrahim was injured during Operation Fath ol-Mobin, we immediately transferred him to the military hospital in Dezful. There were many wounded soldiers admitted to the hospital. The hall was very busy. The wounded were all crying out and it was as if there was no peace and quiet whatsoever. We eventually managed to find a space and we laid Ibrahim down. The nurses bandaged the wounds on his neck and foot.
All the wounded were crying out in pain. In such conditions where there was no sign of peace and quiet, a place filled with injured soldiers, Ibrahim started reciting very loudly. He recited a very beautiful poem about the virtues of Lady Fatimah (a) whose blessed name was the codeword of the operation. For those few minutes, the whole place went quiet. No wounded soldier even made a sound. It almost felt as if everything had returned to normal. Wherever I looked, everyone was completely calm. Teardrops were rolling down the faces of both the wounded and the nurses.
Once Ibrahim finished, a nurse who was older than the others and didn’t wear proper hijab came forward. She seemed very affected by the poem, and said quietly, “You’re just like my son! May I be sacrificed for you, you youth!” She then sat and kissed Ibrahim on the forehead. Ibrahim’s face was very funny to watch at that moment. His ears had gone red, he pulled the covers over his face out of embarrassment.
Ibrahim would always say, “After trusting in Allah, seeking intercession from the Infallibles (ams), especially Lady Fatimah (a), will always solve your problems.”
