Just caught myself relishing in an “I told you so” and felt lessened. We just had a HUGE win that’s been a soul-destroying slog, and I intend to savour this moment as it’s freakin’ delicious. I fully expect shenanigans between now and Trump’s inauguration, and I have no compassion for the deep state cabal puppets who will do all they can to stop it from happening. (I have faith that Trump and his legal teams have this in hand.)

But, I do have empathy for those who’ve been conditioned to believe they’ve somehow lost their rights or now face some obscure danger. I don’t mean mainstream media, celebrities or those who’ve been rewarded for lying, cheating and demeaning. I mean ordinary people who didn’t ask questions and trusted all of the above. 

There needs to be healing to escape this cycle society’s been cajoled into. It’ll take time and it’ll take someone to be the bigger person and teach rather than mock (although I’m totally down for the latter if they’re unwilling to listen).

Our neighbours aren’t our enemies. They were misguided, and we now need to guide them to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

Let’s celebrate, and then get all on the path to recovery, for the benefit of everyone 🙏🏼
