Hello, friends! We continue the summer lectures of Alfa Dialogue Centre as part of Let's speak Russian project. Today we invite you to the world of space! Who "invented space"? A brief history of the space race between the Soviet Union and the United States. Rockets, satellites, spaceships and space stations, interplanetary vehicles.

The class is led by Boris Eskin, a senior lecturer at St. Petersburg State University and head of Russian astronomy training camps.

On June 6, Russians celebrate the 225th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Pushkin and the Day of the Russian Language. Russian poet Pushkin is the founder of modern Russian language and ancestor of Russian literature.

✅Today, the first classes and lectures were held as part of the full-time phase of the project in Botswana.
?The Alfa-Dialog team from St. Petersburg was happy to have a long-awaited meeting with the participants.
✅The program was very diverse: we learned to speak Russian, touched upon the issues of cooperation between Russia and Botswana in the economy, business, and the humanitarian sphere, introduced the participants to our country and talked about the possibilities of studying in Russia.
?Dear friends! We have been thinking together today about how to make our cooperation long and reliable. We are incredibly happy to meet you and are very glad that you have come.

?The Center of Additional Professional Education “Alpha-Dialogue”, supported by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, invites everyone to participate in the International education project “Russian Language in Africa: the way of friendship and cooperation” to be held on December 4-5th, 2023, in Avani Gaborone Resort.

✍? The project includes exciting lessons “Let’s speak Russian”, “Getting to Know Modern Russia”. Russia-Africa business and economic cooperation as well as Russian scholarship programmes will be discussed. Participates will also learn about Russian literature, music, cuisine and do the Russian round dance.

?? Join the event to try Russian sweets and food, get souvenirs and know more about Russian culture!

? Dates: December 4-5th, 2023, from 10.00 am to 2 pm
