Based on my network knowledge, It was a magical tool back then (~2nd year of the university). Firstly I thought that the router alters the packet's data, but after some analysis I discarded this idea. Because it's ridiculous to change the packet's data on the fly. Then I forgot about it. And today I found this article.

It turned out that the traceroute almost never works and it's a big scam ? Somewhat I am a bit glad about it ?
