그래서 한국에 있을 때 특수한 습관이 형성되고 해외에 나갔을 때 이를 반복적으로 사용하기 어렵다.
- 한국의 큰회사는 대부분 사람들이 쓰고 잘 알고 있다.
- 한국에 사는 내가 사용자이자 메이커이다보니, 직관중심의 제품개발이 가능하다.3. 미국의 의사 커뮤니티 Doximity $6b - 공략할 수 있는 하위 세그먼트가 충분히(대한민국 시장 전체보다) 크다.
→ 내가 데이터를 소비하는 사람이 아니기 때문에 데이터 중심의 제품 기획/개발(Customer Discovery)이 필요하다.
- 다양한 고객과 접점을 늘려 의사결정의 질을 높여라.
- 뭘 모르는 지 모른다고 인정해라.
-대부분 똑똑하고 에고가 강한 사람들이라서 인정을 잘 안함.

- (한국)고객 범위가 넓은 제품 vs (글로벌) 좁은 고객군에서 깊은 제품
- 한국에서는 스타트업, 큰 기업 모두에게 맞추다보니 글로벌하게 하나만 집중하는 회사와 경쟁하니까 이기기 어렵다.

- 고객을 만나고 고객의 목소리를 제품에 반영해라.
- 데이터 = Number + User Insight - User insight = Level of Pain(Emotion)

⇒ 대화의 질과 의사결정의 질이 아주 높아짐.
- 고객 Customer, Attributes, Pain 리스트를 만들어라. Painpoint가 나오는 Segment가 어디에서 나오나? 어떤 세그먼트에 집중할 것인가?

- Do not hire until you know what to do
- 어짜피 좋은 인재는 채용이 안됨.
- 우리 회사가 무엇을 해야하는지를 같이 찾을 수 있는 유연한 사람을 찾으세요.
- Not every one will not make your future. 대부분의 팀원은 글로벌 사업을 하는 것이 힘들어서 나가떨어질 수 있다.
- 이스라엘: There is no such thing(There is no local market for israel companies)
- 애초에 Local 비즈니스를 한다는 게 없다.
- 한국 비즈니스-미국비즈니스를 병행한다면 미국 비즈니스가 처음에 잘 안크는데 한국은 조금 노력하면 성과가 나기 때문에 글로벌 쪽에 인내심을 못가질 수 있다.
- 미국에 와서 GTM하는 사람들이 처음에 엄청 힘들어한다. 우울증의 근처까지 간다. 원래 힘든 일이다.
- 싱크를 자주 하기 위해서 한국 오피스가 일찍일어나고 미국 오피스에서 좀 더 늦게까지 일해줬다.
- 미국에 와서 고객을 직접만나면서 같은 방향을 바라보는 시간이 귀했고 제품을 만드는 사람들이 고객을 자주 만나야한다.

- 압도적으로 이길 수 있는 시장을 찾기 위해서 고객을 이해하자.
- 우리의 엣지는?
- 블라인드는 커뮤니티 비즈니스라서 임계치가 넘어야할텐데, 초기에 어떤 시행착오가 있었나?
- 한국에선 네이버직원들이 다 친구라서 가입해달라고 하는게 먹혔는데 링크드인 직원들에게 우리의 엠버서더가 되달라고 했었는데 실패했음.
- 시애틀가서 아마존 본사에 일하는 한인 400명을 데려다가 고기, 술, 김치찜을 멕이면서 파티를 3개월하니 사람들이 모이더라.
