Unmanaged stress is detrimental to happiness, sleep and overall health.
2 science supported solutions:
1) Real time stress control:
Physiological sigh (deep vigorous inhale through your nose until lungs are full, then sneak in a bit more air with another sharp inhale, then exhale until your lungs are empty).
2) Raise your stress threshold:
Use (safe!) deliberate cold exposure or any other reliable way to safely & quickly increase your adrenaline levels, while also controlling your mental focus. This takes practice but you’ll progress quickly.
To adjust quickly to daylight savings, get up at your usual (clock) time & get 10-45min of exercise, ideally outside & facing the sun (if it’s out/rising/even if cloudy). The combined effects of bright light and exercise have a synergistic effect on circadian clock shifts.

The sooner people realize that different people have different thresholds for what they consider “evidence” to motivate changes in their health practices, the sooner true consensus will emerge. Everyone has to determine what’s right for themselves. Know your thresholds.
Blue vs. yellow/orange contrast is the fundamental signal for the circadian system/setting and present at circa sunrise and circa sunset. The relevant neurons in the eye are optimally stimulated by that contrast. No it is not present in overhead sunlight.
