Yeo Workshop presents a solo exhibition of new ceramic works by Shayne Phua. ‘A roast of Asian nine tails topped with broken femur and bile, accompanied by more curious ingredients’ is full of mischievous oddities. From multi-tailed fox spirits as incongruous bearers of Confucian morality, to fountains in the shape of broken bones, to lights shaped like gallbladders, this exhibition speaks to the socio-political realities and complexities of contemporary life—especially in Singapore— through supernatural narratives and fantastical forms.

STPI – Creative Workshop & Gallery presents their 2024 Annual Special Exhibition, Helen Frankenthaler: Prints 1977–2004, a showcase of the prolific printmaking practice of the late, esteemed artist Helen Frankenthaler (1928–2011), one of the most prominent modern American abstract expressionist artists of her time.
Exhibition introduces close to 40 of her print works from the National Collection of Singapore and the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation, New York – one of the largest to be shown in Singapore and with a spotlight on her woodcuts.
Internationally celebrated as a pioneer of Colour Field painting within the Abstract Expressionism movement, Frankenthaler was also a notable printmaker who made significant contributions to the American Print Renaissance.
? Kolektif Chills: BRB
? 18 July 6pm
?SG Courtyard
Do you feel like everyone’s all grown up? The gallery is too! This summer, join us at a send-off party for one of NGS’s inaugural exhibitions, Siapa Nama Kamu?: Art in Singapore since the 19th Century.
After 9 epic years, it’s time for a glow-up. The exhibition is taking a break for a major revamp, with a brand-new exhibition that will highlight new and diverse voices. It's a bittersweet farewell, but don't worry, we'll be right back with fresh stories and vibes! Change is part of our journey. How does our identity shift and evolve as we grow older? Does growing up mean losing parts of ourselves? Let’s explore these questions together with activities, including a special gallery tour and various stations that draw focus on the self through portraits, all while embracing the quirky and imperfect. Let’s celebrate all the aspects of our identities, and redefine how we approach changes in ourselves over the years!
? Olafur Eliasson: Your curious journey
? 10 May - 22 Sept
?Tanjong Pagar Distripark
First major solo exhibition in Southeast Asia dedicated to work of Olafur Eliasson. Exhibition presents broad range of artworks that employ diverse media to touch on major themes of three-decade-long practice – embodiment, experience, perception, as well as urgency of climate action and more-than-human perspectives.
Eliasson has been driven by desire to make the ungraspable tangible. Artworks like Beauty (1993), Symbiotic seeing (2020), Ventilator (1997); and Adrift compass (2019) use ephemeral materials, such as light, wind, fog, and water, to conjure evanescent phenomena – shimmering rainbows, swirling mists, the split-second sculptural form of a spouting fountain – or make invisible elements of our surroundings like air or magnetic fields experienceable. Other works, like The cubic structural evolution project (2004), invite visitors to collaborate on creating shared experiences, building shared worlds.
? small MUJI Exhibition - Enjoying Everyday Items
? Till 25 June
?MUJI PlazaSG

The ‘mitate’ illuminates the diverse worlds of objects and life with an unrestrained spirit of play. We invite you to fully enjoy this exhibition and immerse yourself in the world of MUJI.
The small MUJI exhibition features the work of Tatsuya Tanaka, a miniature photographer renowned for his ‘mitate’ artistry, who transforms MUJI items into representations of varied life scenes. By picking up an ordinary daily item and shifting your perspective, you can discover a tapestry of life imbued with creativity, whimsy, and humour. This display of humour paints a vibrant scene that delights audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
