It looks like EU ambassadors will be able to extend economic sanctions against Russia for another six months on Friday. Hungary did not want it, but the new US administration seems to want the sanctions to continue, - Radio Liberty insider Rikard Jozwiak.

The suspension of U.S. aid to other countries does not apply to military support for Ukraine.

This only applies to international assistance under “development programs.” These include UN agencies, peacekeeping initiatives, and human rights advocacy. Military support for Ukraine is provided through the PDA, USAI, and FMF and is not subject to the executive order.

Ukraine is not touched by it. No worries

Ukrainian Forces successfully struck several key Russian targets, according to the General Staff. For the second time this week, drones hit the "Liskinsky" oil depot in the Voronezh region. Additionally, infrastructure at the Smolensk Aircraft Plant, where combat aircraft are produced and modernized, was targeted, with explosions reported at the site. In the Donetsk region, the command post of Russia’s 29th Army in occupied Volnovakha was struck.

One of the first executive orders signed by Trump was to suspend all U.S. foreign aid programs for 90 days to assess their compliance with U.S. national interests and foreign policy goals.

Ukraine is currently one of the main recipients of U.S. aid.
