ZAYNAB BINT ABI SALAMAH (رضي الله عنها),
The stepdaughter of the Prophet ﷺ
She is Zaynab bint Abi Salamah bin 'Abdil-Asad al-Makhzumi, the stepdaughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from his wife Umm Salamah.
Her brother was 'Umar bin Abi Salamah.
Their mother gave birth to both of them in Abyssinia.
Her Ahadith:
She narrated a number of aḥadith, narrating from the likes of 'A'ishah, Zaynab bint Jahsh, Umm Habibah, and others.
Those who narrated from her include 'Urwah, 'Ali bin al-Husayn, al-Qasim bin Muḥammad, Abu Qilabah al-Jurmi, ‘Ata', and many others.
Zaynab bint Abi Salamah said,
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was with Umm Salamah when he placed Hasan on one side, Husayn on the other side, and Fatimah in front of him and said, 'May the mercy of Allah and His blessings be upon you, O household.'
Zaynab bint Abi Salamah died in 74 AH.
End...
FATIMAH BINT QAYS (رضي الله عنها)
Fatimah bint Qays al-Fihriyyah was from those women who migrated, and she was the sister of the Companion ad-Dahhak bin Qays.
Her Marriage:
She was married to Abu Amr bin Hafs bin al-Mughirah, then he divorced her.
After her divorce, three men sought her hand in marriage.
Fatimah bint Qays said,
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, 'When your period of iddah is over, inform me.'
So I informed him."
(By that time) Mu'awiyah, Abu Jahm, and Usamah bin Zayd had given her the proposal of marriage.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "As far as Mu'awiyah is concerned, he is a poor man without any property.
As far as Abu Jahm is concerned, he hits women, but Usamah bin Zayd..."
She indicated with her hand that she did not approve of the idea of marrying Usamah.
But the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
Obedience to Allah and obedience to His Messenger is better for you.
She said, "So I married him, and I became an object of envy."
Her Ahadith:
She narrated the hadith concerning the woman who has been divorced three times.
She said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said about the woman who had been given an irrevocable divorce:
لَيْسَ لَهَا سُكْنَى وَلَا نَفَقَةٌ.
There is no lodging and maintenance allowance for her.
Likewise, Fatimah bint Qays narrated the famous hadith concerning the Dajjal.
Those who narrated from her include ash Sha'bi, Abu Salamah bin Abdir-Rahman, Abu Bakr bin Abdir-Rahman bin al-Harith bin Hisham, and others.
Fatimah bint Qays died during Mu'awiyah's caliphate.
End...

Some Notes from the book ?
Chapter Umm Kulthum bint 'Uqbah:
- Umm Kulthum bint 'Uqbah is the half-sister of 'Uthman bin 'Affan.
Their mother was Arwa bint Kurayz,
- From the well known aḥadith narrated by her is the narration collected in Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
Umm Kulthum bint 'Uqbah said,
"I heard the Messenger of Allah say:
ليس الكذاب الذي يصلح بين الناس فينمي خيراً أو يقول خيراً.
"He is not a liar who brings about reconciliation among people, conveys good words, and says good things."
Her Marriage:
Umm Kulthum did not have a husband in Makkah, so Zayd bin Harithah married her.
Then he divorced her, so 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf married her.
She gave birth to their children Ibrahim and Humayd.
Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf died while married to her.
Next, she married Amr bin al'As, and she died while married to him.
She narrated 10 ahadith.
Those who narrated from her include her sons Humayd and Ibrahim, and Busrah bint Safwan.
She died during the caliphate of Ali.
End...
UMM KULTHUM
BINT 'UQBAH BIN ABI MU'AYT (رضي الله عنها)
Umm Kulthum bint 'Uqbah was from those women who migrated.
She accepted Islam in Makkah and gave her pledge of allegiance.
It took her seven years to prepare to migrate.
She migrated during the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah.
Quranic Verse Revealed About Her:
When Umm Kulthum bint 'Uqbah migrated to Madinah, she was pursued by her two brothers, Walid and 'Imarah, who were pagans at the time.
When her brothers arrived shortly after Umm Kulthum, they went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said,
“O Muhammad, fulfill the condition."
This is because the condition of the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah was that whoever migrated to Madinah without the permission of their guardian would be returned.
Umm Kulthum said,
“O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, will you return me to the disbelievers so they may put me to trial regarding my religion, and I might not have the strength to endure?
And the women are weak, as you know."
Thus, Allah the Exalted sent down the verse:
O you who believe!
When believing women come to you as emigrants, examine them, Allah knows best as to their faith.
Then if you ascertain that they are true believers, send them not back to the disbelievers, they are not lawful (wives) for the disbelievers nor are the disbelievers lawful (husbands) for them.
But give the disbelievers that (amount of money) which they have spent [as their mahr] to them.
And there will be no sin on you to marry them if you have paid their mahr to them.
Likewise, hold not the disbelieving women as wives, and ask for (the return of) which you have spent (as mahr) and let them (the disbelievers, etc.) ask back for that which they have spent.
That is the judgment of Allah.
He judges between you.
And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
And if any of your wives have gone from you to the disbelievers, and you have an accession (by the coming over of a woman from the other side), then pay to those whose wives have gone, the equivalent of what they had spent (on their mahr).
And fear Allah in Whom you believe.
[Surah al-Mumtahanah 60:10-11]
Thus, he would ask them,
"By Allah, did you only migrate due to love of Allah, His Messenger, and Islam?
And you did not migrate for a husband or wealth?"
If they swore they only migrated due to love of Allah, His Messenger, and Islam, then he would not return them to the disbelievers.

Some Notes from the book ?
Chapter Asma bint Abi Bakr :
- In her story you can read that She participated in the Battle of Yarmuk with her husband az Zubayr.
The Battle of Yarmuk was a major battle between the army of the Byzantine Empire and the Muslim army of the Rashidun Caliphate.
The Muslims were victorious.
- What was the fitna of Al Hajjaj?
Al Hajjaj bin Yusuf ath-Thaqafi was the governor of Iraq known for his oppression and killing.
The Death of Her Son During the Fitnah of al-Hajjaj:
'Urwah said,
"My brother and I visited my mother days before he was killed, and she was in pain.
Abdullah said, 'How are you?'
She replied, 'I am in pain.'
He said, 'Verily, there is relief in death.'
She said, 'Perhaps you are hoping for me to die, don't do that.'
And then she laughed.
She went on to say,
'I swear by Allah, I do not want to die until one of two extremes occurs, either you are killed so I can seek the reward through patience, or you are victorious so I can be happy.
And beware of compromising the truth due to your fear of death."
'Abdullah bin az Zubayr was killed and crucified in 73 AH.
It was said to Ibn Umar,
"Asma is in the corner of the masjid," and this was when Ibn az Zubayr had been crucified.
He went to her and said,
"These corpses are nothing, the souls are with Allah, so have taqwa of Allah and be patient."
She said, "And what would prevent me from being patient when the head of the prophet Yahya bin Zakariyya Tarikh was given as a gift to a prostitute from the Children of Israel?"
[Stories of the prophets By Ibn Kathir contains the story of the killing of prophet Yahya.]
When al-Hajjaj killed Ibn az-Zubayr,
he visited Asma and said to her,
"O mother, the leader has ordered me to take care of you, so do you have any needs?
"She said, "I am not your mother.
I am the mother of the one who was crucified.
I don't have any needs, but I have some words for you.
I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say,
"There will appear from (the town of) Thaqif a liar and a destroyer.'
As for the liar, we have seen him (meaning, al-Mukhtar ath-Thaqafi),
as for the destroyer, then it is you."
So he stood up and never returned to her.
Asma supplicated to Allah that He not allow her to die until she was able to shroud her son.
Allah answered her supplication, as her son was brought to her and she washed him with Zamzam water and shrouded him, and she was blind at this time.
She prayed the funeral prayer for him, and less than a week passed by before Asma died.
She was the last to die of the women who migrated.
Her Ahadith:
She narrated 58 ahadith.
From those narrations is the well-known narration collected in Al-Bukhari:
Asma said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
إِنِّي عَلَى الْحَوْضِ حَتَّى أَنْظُرُ مَنْ يَرِدُ عَلَيَّ مِنْكُمْ.
I will be at the Pond waiting to see which of you will come to me.
[Sahih Al Bukhari 6593]
End...
