Compare this to the Wicker Man, a film that occupies the same genre of "pagan horror" and you can see a much more genuine faith, that is free of political influences. Yes both are fictional, but Wicker Man promotes a much more pro-life view of paganism. These people while isolated, are not members of some hidden away eugenicist cult that must abduct new blood. They are normal people, living life according to nature. It's not even a horror film, but a glimpse at a different way of life that is quite attractive.
Here we go again. Not sure why I bother. Except to dispel bad information and poor understanding. The word “syncretic” lives in these guys' skulls rent-free more than Satan hides in the shadows for Christians.
They literally think that anyone who practices any form of Syncretic faith thinks about syncretism and creating new syncretic concepts all day long. This would include all Buddhists, all Hindus, all Shinto, and yes, the majority of Pagan who have either incorporated something from other Indo-European, Caucasian, or just European Ethnic groups.
Let’s shout at the Sky how vile it is that Gallo-Romans existed, or how Rome too in Greek understandings which were syncretic with other Indo-Europeans or Mesopotamians…..
How can this be your sole focus all the time?
Actual people of Ethnic faiths or any real faith group spend their time living life, praising and venerating the divine, practicing their faith, and reading scriptures or words of wisdom. Not screeching and seething that there are connections between Odin, Zeus, Rudra (Shiva), or other Eurasian Gods.
Ignoring the lack of understanding from this post regarding the breadth of theological cognates as well as physical attributes, this is another attempt to demonize others without any real understanding.
Almost no one I know who has a syncretic worldview worships an amalgamation of the Gods. Nor do they say all of these cultures and interpretations of the divine are interchangeable or not unique and should stay that way. The majority are practicing themselves and use it as a way to bring a broader understanding of spirituality to their lives.
I will say.
The earliest case of syncretism is Indo-Europeans from the steppe incorporating Western Hunter-Gatherer and Early Neolithic Farmer deities and religious practices into their own pantheons and traditions. Or maybe they believe the Indo-Europeans are fake, pretty popular stance amongst these types.
Everyone has been turned into industrial sharecroppers. Most people rent and lease almost everything. Cars, homes, and even their phones are on a payment plan! It's a gross mockery of the feudal system, but the serf is now replacable.
I know there are a few followers of mine, and others, who have expressed Christo-Pagan sympathies or a mystical blend via concepts within ideas of Theosophy, or Rudolf Steiner, and the spin off of Ariosophy German Positive Christianity, which gave rise to Christian Identity.
Some of these people have been able to use these as stepping stones to actual Pagan or Dharmic faiths.
However, the downward spiral of these Christo-Pagan blends is that they will always result in being anti ethnic / Folk and Indo-European faith. No matter how much "aryan" or mystic elder knowledge you mix, the improper syncretism of including the oil and water that is Abrahamic Yahweh worship will always turn against any other element and result in a nonsense faith or ultimate a subversion that attacks folk faith and spreads conversion lies.
Believe me, as one who is into Esoterica, mystical understandslings, and studying the Occult, I can see truths in these early movements and how they preserved some Pagan faith.
However, the inclusion of Abrahamic concepts should be cut out or avoided completely as they are antithetical and harmful.
The past year has been a journey for all of us. It has revealed to the Writer that it is time to move forward in all aspects. Gone are the days of old, never to return! The wheel of the year has turned once more, and the cycle starts anew. With this turning of the wheel comes the realization that we have all been stuck looking towards the past for answers.
It is time for something new my dear readers. Old symbols will resurface, but we are far past the point of trying what has already been tried. Remember, the National Socialists, Fascists, Communists, and so on were all futurists at heart! It is time to create something new, that we can call our own. We have all stagnated too much. Many are still stuck in 2016, or yearning for the days of websites like Iron March. It is time to move on. We all know that the bleeding to death of the current is reaching it's final throes, it is the zeitgeist of the time.
Some cry that nothing ever happens, that we have reached the end of history. They are right in a way. We have reached the end of history for that which was.
It is time for something new.
