Reading Rev 13:3-5 leads me to believe that the beast gets 42 months from the time he got the head-wound. Verses:

“And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.”
Revelation 13:3-5 NKJV

If we calculate the date he got the shot to the ear. It lands on a very interesting date, for a few reasons which I will point out below.

For those who don’t know, Chanukah doesn’t happen on the same day on the Gregorian calendar every year. It happens on the 25th of Kislev. Which so happens to land on December 25th in the year of 2027.

We will have a day of dedication of the temple land on the same day Christians deem as a Holy day of Christs birth/coming. All occurring 42 months from the head wound of the beast.

The significance comes from the fact that in Maccabees it is recorded that on the 25th of Kislev the abomination of desolation occurred.
That same day is the day they chose to dedicated the Temple after it was cleaned.

Now upon the same day that the strangers profaned the Temple, on the very same day it was cleansed again, even the five and twentieth day of the same month, which is Kiclev. MAKKABIYM SHENIY (2 MACCABEES) 10:5

I know many won’t agree, but Christmas is a pagan day that likely was being observed the day the abomination occurred. Thus the swine being sacrificed for Apollyon.

Other than December 25th and Chanukah starting on the same day in 2027, and it being 42 months since the beast got his head wound, I don’t know how it plays out but I am hoping it clicks in someone else’s spirit what it could mean, if anything.
