Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu. We are pleased to announce the release of our new course on Comparative Religion: The People of the Book.

This course explores the deeper theological context of the “People of the Book” in a Comparative Religion perspective. It aims to explain the Jewish militant Racialism and extremist Legalism, juxtaposing it with the breakthrough of the Universalism of Jesus (as), also touching on the Sufi Parallel in Islamic thought.

Understanding Ahl al-Kitāb better is important to contextualise the current events in the Ummah and to determine its future work plan in civilizational clash.

This engagement is inspired by the book “Christian Ethics” by a great contemporary Muslim philosopher and expert of Comparative Religion, Dr. Ismā‘īl Rājī al-Fārūqī.

The First session is now live on Youtube. You can access it here.

Respected Brothers and Sisters, Assalamualaykum wr wb,

On this blessed occasion of Eid Ul Fitr, we extend heartfelt greetings to all of you and your families. May Allah make this Eid a time of tranquillity, peace, glory, and resilience for the entire ummah.

As we celebrate, let us draw inspiration from the life of our Prophet (saw), finding strength in faith amidst triumph and personal loss.

This year, let us also remember our brothers and sisters in Gaza who are bravely enduring unimaginable hardships. The Palestinian people inspire us with their resilience and steadfastness against oppression. Let's join in solidarity, praying for the liberation of Al-Aqsa and all occupied territories.

We encourage everyone to celebrate Eid in a modest manner, reflecting on the challenges faced by the ummah. May our actions and support contribute to the upliftment of Islam and the ummah.

May Allah accept our deeds from Ramadan and guide us to actively support the cause of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw).

Please remember us in your dua's. Eid Mubarak!

Warm regards,
The Dar al Ilm Team
