Who am I in the Lord Jesus?

My relationship to the Son of God
• I am a child of God through Him (John 1:12).
• I have peace with Him (Rom. 5:1).
• I am complete in Him (Col. 2:10).
• I have access to the Father through Him (Eph. 2:18).
• I have been declared righteous (Rom. 5:1).
• I am a part of His Body (1 Cor. 12:27).
• I have received forgiveness of all my sins (Col. 1:14).
• I am eternally connected to Him (1 Cor. 6:17).

My position in the Lord Jesus
• I am a citizen of His heavenly kingdom (Philippians 3:20-21).
• I can never be condemned (Romans 8:1-2).
• I am sealed with His Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13).
• I am hidden with Him in God (Col. 3:3).
• I can be sure that all things work together for good (Romans 8:28).
• I have received His life of power, love, and obedience (2 Timothy 1:7).

My value in Christ
• I am His temple (1 Corinthians 3:16).
• I am His witness (Acts 1:8).
• I am His fellow worker (2 Corinthians 6:1).
• I am His salt and also His light (Matthew 5:13-14).
• I am a branch of His vine (John 15:1-5).
• I am a completely new creation (2 Cor. 5:17).
• I have been chosen to bear His fruit (John 15:16).
• I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Phil. 4:13).
• I am a channel of His reconciliation (2 Cor. 5:18).

My future with the Lord Jesus
• I may reign with Him in the future (2 Tim. 2:13).
• I look forward to the marriage of the Lamb (Rev. 19:9).
• ​​I will see Him face to face (1 John 3:1-3).
• I will be like Him (Rom. 8:29).
• ​​I may invite others, because there is still room (Rev. 21:16).
• That is life in abundance (John 10:10).

??Prayer
Lord God, I have no idea what this year will bring. What I do know is that you are in control. However, I must admit that there are days when I don't always see it that way. What chaos the world has become. Lord, I pray to you that from the rest with you I can once again do my daily things.

Lord, I pray that my life will not be superficial, but focused on you. In everything I do. My family, my work, the church. Open my heart and let me see and hear with your heart so that I can notice and take action to truly be of service to you and people.

Lord, give me the rest that I need for that. After all, rest and peace begin with you. I may be myself with you. Take my life, let it be dedicated to your honor, Lord.

??Update Israël
? ? “But I trust in you, LORD. I say: You are my God! My times are in your hand.” Ps. 31:15 With this confidence we want to look forward to 2025. Where and what would you be allowed to do in God's Kingdom this coming year? Reach out and dare to take a step. How our lives will go, we do not know, but He wants to say to you: I AM, I will go with you!

? Pray for the leaders in the Middle East. Especially for Netanyahu, who is recovering from surgery on his prostate. Whatever you think of him, he is the chosen leader at this time. That is why we pray for strength, wisdom, healing and protection. And for the entire government.

? Pray for the 68,000 people in the south and north of Israel who have been driven from their homes by the war. 13,500 still live in hotels and 54,500 evacuees live in communities throughout the country. It costs Israel a lot of money. And this in addition to the uncertain situation of the country.

? People in Israel have had to flee to bomb shelters almost every night this past week because of the Houthis, a proxy of Iran from Yemen, who sometimes only fire 1 rocket - and that is also intercepted - but still millions of people have to go to bomb shelters because of the "waste" of the rocket, which causes injuries. Israel responds with hard actions, but it is a different type of country, that is 2000 km further away... What if rockets or drones do fall on civilian targets? Lord have mercy. When will the violence stop?

? Rockets are also still being fired from Gaza. How is it possible... Israel has taken 240 Hamas terrorists from Kamal hospital, including 15 who participated in the Oct. 7 massacre. A hospital as a terrorist base. I hear that 5 babies also died in the hospital due to hypothermia. Something like that goes through my marrow. I no longer know what to believe and what really happened. A hospital must be a hospital.

? Also in the countries around it, many displaced people have been driven from their homes. Fortunately, international communities help these refugees. Pray for them. Especially in the wintertime it is a difficult time. Also the millions of displaced people from Syria who have fled their country for years. Lord, may you be with all the people who have to flee. War remains horrible.

? Pray for Syria. Where is that country going? We hear mixed messages. A country where large mass graves of a hundred thousand people have been found. What suffering and what sorrow. Where were the protests against this? The entire Middle East is in turmoil. Pray for a breakthrough of the Gospel.

? Also in Judea and Samaria, so the area where the Palestinians have the right to self-determination, it remains restless. The Hamas members there and the Palestinian Authority (PA) who are in charge there are fighting each other, where a journalist was also killed. There are many rival groups, who fight each other, even in the entire Middle East. Lord, please bring a turnaround in the ME. It is so necessary. Bring life instead of death and destruction.

? Thank you that since October 7 last year 35,000 Jews have returned to Israel, have made Aliyah. Lord, help them to find their place in Israel.

? Thank you for the rain that fell this week. Rain is a blessing. But not always when you are displaced/evacuated. But there are also “Flash Floods” and that is why there is also a warning for the rain. We pray that rain may continue to fall in the winter season.

??Update Israël!
?Yesterday 7 Oct the commemorations of the horrible massacre of 1200 people along the border with Gaza. Faces covered and grim atmosphere. There is a lot of pain and sorrow. A horrible war is going on, destroying lives on both sides. For a year already… and it is not over yet… If the hostages were released, the war would be over…. ?️ Lord, please bring back the living and the dead.

?In Kiriyat Shemona, near the border with Lebanon, the members of the Messianic community, with help, prepare thousands of meals every day for the soldiers who go to fight. Lord we want to pray for the work that is done there. Lord please give protection to the soldiers who do not know if they will come back alive. God give divine protection. We also pray for the civilians and Christians in Gaza and Lebanon. 30% of the people in Lebanon are Christians.

?What will happen in the coming days regarding Iran? Will the war become much bigger? Will the nuclear facilities be destroyed, which aim to wipe Israel off the map? Is a war on 7 fronts not big enough? Lord, have mercy.
