One pattern I've noticed with Ukrainian nationalists and state is refusal to be honest about harm they are or want to do to others.

Blocking Ukrainian grain from Polish market is bad for Ukraine and harms Ukraine. But they seem to be unwilling to admit that forcing Ukrainian grain onto Polish market now will be very harmful to Poland and would harm Polish farmers greatly.

Ukrainian actions this week has caused a massive mood change in Poland.

Ukrainian eventually entry into EU and access to market would compete with Polish farmers, but this was hoped to be reasonable negotiated of give and take, maybe EU aid for affected farmers, years for Polish farmers to adjust and adapt, Ukrainian side needing to adapt EU norms about pesticides, contaminants, and perhaps not being such a corrupt oligcracy.

Ukrainian actions are aggressive and arrogant. Fact is that forcing Poland to take Ukrainian grain right now will DEVESTATE Polish agriculture, Polish countryside, and bankrupt entire sectors of our yeoman agricultural industry short and long term. With black sea blocked Ukrainian grain will be dumped at much lower prices than cost of production.

Do Ukrainians not care about fact that Polish farmers will be devestated? Poles found out this week that in fact they do not care.

Poles thought Ukraine and Poland would work out integration of Ukrainian farms in EU market.

Instead Ukraine has chosen route of using Brussels to force Poland.

This stragety might be unwise for Ukraine because it caused such a reaction in Poland it will make future negotiations and relations harder. But ukrainian actions make sense and are in Ukraines interest if they correctly calculated that Poland is a pushover and they can ignore our interests and our objections and can succesfully force their will irregardless of Polish objections.
