The difference is in the idea of how these two cars’ interfaces approach their users.

In the first case there is a job that the interface serve - «Defrost the car»

In the second case the user needs to choose between multiple different icons on the dashboard to understand what they need to do.

My role as a product designer is to make the interface serve a job for their users. That’s the type of the interface users like ?

P.S. btw, don’t like Tesla as a car, but the UX is great.
