Spicy Cucumber Margaritas ?*?*? Recipe ?**

I absolutely LOVE a cucumber-based cocktail, but I feel like every time I order one at a restaurant, it’s way too sweet and doesn’t taste nearly as refreshing as I’d hoped! If you’ve ever had the same experience, this is the cocktail recipe for you!

It’s made with a jalapeño infused agave, which really tones down the sweetness, and you can add as little or as much as you’d like. Fresh cucumber juice makes all the difference in flavor (as does freshly squeezed lime juice for tartness). Good quality tequila & orange liqueur round it out for a cocktail that’s super refreshing, spicy (but not too spicy) and lightly sweet.

SPICY CUCUMBER MARGARITAS ?**?****
(Makes 2 drinks)

Jalapeño infused agave:

1 cup agave syrup
1 jalapeño, sliced into rounds (or less for a less spicy cocktail)

4 oz cucumber juice (1 large or 4 mini cucumbers)
2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
3 oz tequila
1 oz orange liqueur (we use @cointreau_us)
1 1/2 oz jalapeño infused agave (more or less to taste)

For the rim: 1 tbsp kosher salt and zest from 1 lime

Add jalapeño slices and agave to a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer for a minute or two, then remove from heat and let sit for 30 minutes to cool before straining out the jalapeño.

Peel and dice a cucumber and blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve and discard the pulp.

Moisten the rims of two glasses with a lime wedge, then coat in salt + lime zest mixture and fill with ice.

Add cucumber juice, lime juice, tequila, orange liqueur and agave to a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice. Shake well for 10 seconds, then strain into the rimmed glasses. Optional: top with a cucumber ribbon and/or a jalapeño slice.

❤️ Thanks everyone for your support and love!

Last month I got interviewed by police for 4 days after arriving in Paris. I was told I may be personally responsible for other people’s illegal use of Telegram, because the French authorities didn’t receive responses from Telegram.

This was surprising for several reasons:

  1. Telegram has an official representative in the EU that accepts and replies to EU requests. Its email address has been publicly available for anyone in the EU who googles “Telegram EU address for law enforcement”.

  2. The French authorities had numerous ways to reach me to request assistance. As a French citizen, I was a frequent guest at the French consulate in Dubai. A while ago, when asked, I personally helped them establish a hotline with Telegram to deal with the threat of terrorism in France.

  3. If a country is unhappy with an internet service, the established practice is to start a legal action against the service itself. Using laws from the pre-smartphone era to charge a CEO with crimes committed by third parties on the platform he manages is a misguided approach. Building technology is hard enough as it is. No innovator will ever build new tools if they know they can be personally held responsible for potential abuse of those tools.

Establishing the right balance between privacy and security is not easy. You have to reconcile privacy laws with law enforcement requirements, and local laws with EU laws. You have to take into account technological limitations. As a platform, you want your processes to be consistent globally, while also ensuring they are not abused in countries with weak rule of law. We’ve been committed to engaging with regulators to find the right balance. Yes, we stand by our principles: our experience is shaped by our mission to protect our users in authoritarian regimes. But we’ve always been open to dialogue.

Sometimes we can’t agree with a country’s regulator on the right balance between privacy and security. In those cases, we are ready to leave that country. We've done it many times. When Russia demanded we hand over “encryption keys” to enable surveillance, we refused — and Telegram got banned in Russia. When Iran demanded we block channels of peaceful protesters, we refused — and Telegram got banned in Iran. We are prepared to leave markets that aren’t compatible with our principles, because we are not doing this for money. We are driven by the intention to bring good and defend the basic rights of people, particularly in places where these rights are violated.

All of that does not mean Telegram is perfect. Even the fact that authorities could be confused by where to send requests is something that we should improve. But the claims in some media that Telegram is some sort of anarchic paradise are absolutely untrue. We take down millions of harmful posts and channels every day. We publish daily transparency reports (like this or this ). We have direct hotlines with NGOs to process urgent moderation requests faster.

However, we hear voices saying that it’s not enough. Telegram’s abrupt increase in user count to 950M caused growing pains that made it easier for criminals to abuse our platform. That’s why I made it my personal goal to ensure we significantly improve things in this regard. We’ve already started that process internally, and I will share more details on our progress with you very soon.

I hope that the events of August will result in making Telegram — and the social networking industry as a whole — safer and stronger. Thanks again for your love and memes ?

? The $6 million worth of Notcoin donated to me 2 weeks ago has increased in price 4 times and is now valued at $24 million ?

? The daily trading volume of Notcoin reached $4 billion yesterday, making it one of the top 5 most-traded cryptocurrencies in the world ?

? Millions of people earned money on Notcoin just by using a mini app in Telegram — and now they keep earning more. While the Notcoin mini app is accessed via Telegram, the Notcoin cryptocurrency is minted on TON ? — the only blockchain technology that is truly scalable and can support a new wave of super popular projects ?

? A month ago, Notcoin was the largest cryptocurrency community in the history of social media. Today, the Notcoin community is rivaled only by projects it inspired — similar mini apps on Telegram that are allowing tens of millions of users to benefit ?

? We are proud to be the platform that serves the people.

Du Rove's Channel

***🪙*** Half a million Notcoin users gifted me $6.8 million worth of Notcoin! Thank you ***☺️*** ***📈*** I will hold these coins until they turn to $680M, at which point I will use them to buy more servers for Telegram ***🏭*** ***😆*** #WealthGapWidens #RichGetRicher #DisparityGrows…

? Notcoin, a miniapp on Telegram, reached 35M active users in just a few months.

? In this app, users could earn a game currency “notcoins” by clicking on the screen. Yesterday, the cryptocurrency Notcoin was minted on the TON blockchain and listed on all major cryptoexchanges. All of a sudden, Notcoin users who just played this game for fun could convert their in-game currency into real money ?

? Notcoin instantly became a top-10 cryptocurrency in the world by trading volume, and reached almost $700 million in market capitalization. Imagine — hundreds of millions of dollars in value were created for Telegram users in this miniapp out of nowhere in a matter of months ?

? This amazing success story shows how powerful the Telegram / TON ecosystems are for app developers. Telegram offers app developers more freedom than any other platform, providing unmatched opportunities to leverage social interactions for viral distribution. TON, in turn, provides scale and flexibility for any blockchain project on top of it ?

We are now seeing a large wave of new miniapps being built on Telegram and TON. Notcoin, the leader of the pack, used its mighty paws to pave the way for many apps to come ?

Silver was used as an excellent food preservative back in the day as well-- it makes me wonder if this metal just has an excellent charge donation capability for life (while also great at killing yeast/ mold/ fungus)
So funny that we generally only think of silver and other metals as a store of value for currency and shiny things to show off with ?

Does Exposure To Positively Charged Silver Generate Stem Cells?

Gearing up to do my how-to colloidal silver tutorial and came across Dr Robert O. Becker's book The Body Electric and an article.

http://www.rexresearch.com/becker/becker1.htm

Apparently running a positive charge into a silver electrode donates very friendly ions to the body creating stem cells in the local tissues ?
This is some fountain of youth tech, sounds like...
Colloidal Silver as a natural remedy is amazing and under represented in the alt health world imo and this is just next level to ingesting it (if the method actually works).
Rapid healing of burns, broken bones, cancerous tissues, likely vax damage,  I'd imagine (not making claims).

Becker discovered that when positively charged silver ions are electrically introduced into wounds with a proprietary silver-coated nylon fabric used as the positive electrode, large amounts of primitive embryonic stem cells are produced. These stem cells are responsible for the reconstruction of destroyed tissue at a pace considerably faster than if the wound had been left to heal by itself. In other cases, the wound might not heal at all without the introduction of these stem cells
"The advantages of this technique," says Becker, "are the ease of use, use of the patient's own cells, no immune reaction, no need to use human fetusus as a source of stem cells, no need for anti-rejection drugs and it is economic."

So how can we make our own conductive silver wearables??

I thiiiink it might work if you dissolved silver in nitric acid (silver nitrate was extremely common and effective remedy in old world), mixed it with silicon caulking, then mixed that into a strong solvent like naphtha, then saturated a blanket or clothing with it, then left it outside to evaporate off the solvent- leaving the silver nitrate and silicon suspended in the fabric - just like this DIY waterproof anything tutorial.

Just spitballing as always, but this sounds promising!
