? From the reasons for being prevented from performing acts of obedience

and the lack of engaging with the Qur'ān in Ramadān

Carelessness in what one hears and sees, because these two are the main doors that lead directly to the heart.

The servant only tastes and enjoys good deeds/acts of obedience with his heart.

If the heart becomes neglected and weak, the limbs will weaken.

"So guard your hearing and your sight, if your lack of engagement pains you." ?

? **It is not befitting for the carrier of the Qur'ān to view anyone upon the earth as richer than him, even if that person possesses the vastness of the earth and its riches! After all, Allah is the one who enriched the carrier of the Qur'ān with His speech and selectively chose him from among so many people. 

Therefore, taking upon the Qur'ān is not an easy matter. Rather, it is a provision which Allah gifts to whom He wills! And sufficient a provision, honor, and sublimity for the companion of the Qur'ān is that which Allah gave him [of His speech]! ❤️**

? And We have certainly granted you the seven often-repeated verses and the great Qur'ān.[For that reason] Do not let your eyes crave the ˹fleeting˺ pleasures We have provided for some of the disbelievers, nor grieve for them. And be gracious to the believers. [15:88 - 89]
