Imam Abu Ahmad Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Muhammad al-Karaji al-Qassab, may Allah have mercy on him (360 AH), wrote in the Qadiri creed, which he authored for the Commander of the Faithful, al-Qadir bi-Amr Allah, in the year 433 AH.

This creed was signed off by the scholars of that time, and the Qadiri treatise was sent to various regions.

He said: “God should only be described with what He has described Himself, or with what His Prophet has described Him. Any attribute with which He has described Himself or with which His Prophet has described Him is a real attribute, not a metaphorical one. If it were metaphorical, it would require interpretation, and one would say: "The meaning of sight is this, and the meaning of hearing is that," leading to explanations other than what is immediately understood. Since the way of the predecessors Salaf was to acknowledge these attributes without interpretation, it is known that they are not metaphorical but rather clearly real.”

This is as quoted in 'al-Muntazam' by Ibn al-Jawzi in al-Muntazam's events of the year 433 AH, and 'Siyar A'lam al-Nubala'."

I am due to appear to court soon. Please make du'a. Again to clarify, I didn't initiate the court proceeding because my ex and her partner pressed criminal charges I have been summoned to court otherwise I'd be arrested and further charges laid.

May Allah curse these people and may Allah reunite me with my daughter. They plot and Allah plans, and Allah is the best of planners.

Today I was detained - after a warrant was issued against me. Because of bogus and false claims made against me by my ex and her husband.

Next week, I will be going to court because of these baseless lies and false claims.

All because my ex and her partner will do anything to prevent me from seeing and being with my daughter.

These two pretend to be God fearing people - they talk about the Shari'ah and understand the ruling on Tahakkum (seeking judgement) from other than the Shari'ah and from man-made laws. Yet, they run to anything that would give them the chance to continue their oppression.

If I have benefitted you in any way, shape or form. I ask that you make du'a whenever you remember me - to continue to guide me, to continue to have patience and to reunite me with my daughter.

And may Allah destroy all the oppressors and hypocrites.

Abu Ahmad al-Qassab رحمه الله from his work, an-Nukat:

His saying (the verse): “Then he (Dhun-Nun, the prophet Yunus) cried out in the depths of darkness, 'There is no god but You, glory be to You; truly, I have been among the wrongdoers.'”

This is proof that proclaiming "La ilaha illa Allah" (there is no god but Allah) and glorifying Allah clear away sorrows and save from distress and calamities.

Therefore, it is essential for those who believe in the Book of Allah to make these their refuge in times of hardship and their support in times of ease; in trust of what Allah promised the believers by granting them the same as He did for Dhun-Nun (Yunus) when He said: "So We answered him and saved him from his grief, and thus We save the believers."

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Tamim al-Rayhaan wrote:

How do all our actions relate to the will of God?

We always need three things created by God's will in us to be able to do what we choose:

1) Safety of our limbs. The blind wishes to see but is unable.

2) Removal of obstacles. The bound longs for movement but is incapable.

3) The ability to choose. The stone lacks the ability to choose.

May Allah accept the good deeds we've done during the month of Ramadan and forgive our shortcomings.

Al-Khatib Al-Baghdadi said: "As for speaking about the Attributes (of Allah): what has been narrated regarding them in the Sunnah and authentic Hadiths, the methodology of the Salaf (may Allah be pleased with them) is to affirm them and apply them according to their apparent (Dhawahir) meanings."

There is a misconception often attributed to Ahl ul Dhahir specifically. That is to apply the mistakes of Ibn Hazm in 'aqidah (in Asma' wa Sifat to be more precise) to the Dhahiris in general.

Their claim can be broken in to two:

1. Ibn Hazm is an innovator or has fallen in to innovation therefore his Fiqh is/most likely to be false.

2. Following Ibn Hazm's approach in Fiqh leads to innovation.

And this is an absurd argument. Because many scholars from various school of thoughts also adopted false views or schools of innovation regarding 'aqidah. Yet, those same people wouldn't have a problem with taking from Abu Hanifah, an-Nawawi, as-Suyuti and others.

In fact, as Dr. Ibn Tamim have stated as one of the principle of the Ahl ul Dhahir, Taqlid is to be rejected. If any person, Ibn Hazm or anyone else, contradicts the Qur'an and the Sunnah, we put aside their opinion and follow the Revelations.

Shaykh Khalid al-Hayik said:

"May Allah not have mercy on the foolish Rafidah. By Allah, placing one's hand on pork is more tolerable than placing it in the hand of a despicable Rafidi"

It is important to understand that fighting the Jews isn't the main requirement for entering Paradise - Worshipping Allah without equals is, and this principle belief has been desecrated by the Rafidah. Do not think that by fighting the Jews that they are inching closer to Millat ul-Ibrahim.

Shaykh Ibn Tamim حفظه الله:

Question: My righteous life partner, after a recent accident, may remain bedridden for a long time. She has requested separation because she doesn't want to be a burden on me. I refuse and will take care of her. Is my refusal justified, and is it within her rights?

Answer: This is an act of loyalty. Be to her as you would want her to be to you, carry her on your back if necessary.

And the request for separation is within her rights, but don't pay attention to her words. It could be a result of shock and her fear of being a burden on someone. People are sensitive about this matter.

Stick to your stance if you can and if you have the ability to do so. Avoid letting her feel your fatigue or boredom. Be a caring companion rather than a sympathetic one.

Never betray her, and may God grant you success.
