خوشحالم که دعوت شدم مقاله «بررسی نقدوارانه جا به جایی پایتخت ایران» را برای نشریه آکادمیک «آزادی اندیشه» که مقاله ها برای چاپ شدن باید حتمن مورد تایید آگاهان و مشاوران قرار بگیرند (peer reviewed) ارسال دارم.

مقاله من در شماره پاییز 2024 چاپ شده است.

در آن من ابتدا به بررسی انتقال پایتخت در کشورهای مختلف از چندین قرن گذشته تا به همین روزها، علل جا به جایی آنها و شکست ها و موفقیت های آنها پرداخته ام.

سپس دلایل گوناگون قابلیت انتقال پایتخت ایران از تهران و در مقابل مشکلات ساختاری که این جا به جایی را غیر عملی و نابخردانه میسازند، حتی اگر شرایط موجود و دورنمای آینده تغییر یابند، را مطرح کرده ام.

I am pleased I was invited to submit my article “Relocation of Iranian Capital, a critical review” for publication in the peer-reviewed, academic Freedom of Thought Journal.

It was published in the Autumn 2024 issue of the journal.

The essay first provides a review of the historical relocation of capitals of different countries over centuries, up to current times, the reason behind their relocation, and successes or failures of the new capitals.

Then different reasons are put forward for why the relocation of the capital of Iran from Tehran would make sense but why such an attempt would be extremely unproductive and impossible, even if the underlying and structural problems in current Iran with now their deep roots are overcome.

The musical Les Miserables was part of the program.
